  • I used to snack a lot. Around a year ago, I partially replaced snacks with diet soda to help lose weight. It has served its purpose. I intend to cut diet soda soon though as I think I have more self-control now.
  • Lose 4 lbs. Go running at least twice.
  • I was breathing easier after climbing stairs to third floor apartment. That is more of a conditioning thing, but I was losing my breath a lot more easily at my peak weight, which is why it was noticeable.
  • My diary is open as well. My diet is almost completely comprised of unhealthy, processed food though. I try to stick to my calorie goal, and am losing weight steadily. I am thinking of switching to clean diet, but haven't made the push for it just yet.
  • Here's a typical day for me: Goal: 1900 Eat: 2500 Exercise: 600 Net intake: 2500 - 600 = 1900

  • My other half is not a tennis player at all. I met her just 6 months into my 8 year sabbatical, so she never really saw my tennis side either until last year when I started again.
  • Hi. I am from Texas as well, like several others who posted. I played tennis from 8-19 years old, ending it after one year in Div1 which sapped the love of tennis from me. Last July, after 8 years out of the game I started again, 70 lbs heavier. I now play 4-5 days a week, including USTA 4.5 league tennis. In the meantime,…
  • I weigh ~215 lbs currently, but I run around like I am 160 lbs or so. That means my knees take a lot of beating if I play singles. Doubles is just as fun, yet not as taxing on the body, so I prefer it.
