  • Im sorry to tell you this.......BUT.......There are lots of planks in level 3. I found level 3 alot easier to adjust to than level 2 though. Out of all the levels I just love level 3
  • I had the exact same thing, I'll let you in on secret......Level 3 = sore knees. My god it hurt walking up the stairs, jumping etc i felt like an oap haha
  • Hi all, well my final day 0f 30DS was on 2nd June, 2012. I only took 1 day break & that wasn't planned, I had the intention of doing the full 30 days without a break but on my anniversary I drank waaay to much & just couldn't face Jillian the next day  Overall I have noticed a huge difference in my physical…
  • I didn't realise the other thread was full lol. Well today was my last day of 30DS & I am sooo excited for my day off tomorrow before I go for round 2 on monday. I wil be back in the morning to share my results....eeeeek excited much!
  • I totally saw her cheating the 2nd day. I yelled so loud my husband thought I was hurt and came running. I was like look at that ***** totally cheating. She cheated. I swear she cheated! My husband just rolled around LOL'ing at me. He finally said well from looking at her, I don't think she makes it a regular habit.…
  • I look at her near the end of round 3, level 1 & see all that sweat on her face & chest then think....you lazy cow, you cheat & that is not sweat it is probably baby oil or water  I have only 2 days left until I have completed 30DS & have noticed that throughout each level there is a point where the modified lady (I…
  • Soooo proud of you hun, you have worked so hard to get that amazing body. Including your 3 level Jillian Marathon, crazy lady
  • Hahaaaa I noticed this when I was on day 4, I would get proper riled up & shout you lazy cow at the tv. I bet she sits on her *kitten* everytime she is out of view from the camera
  • I had my second child June, 2011 & tried all sorts of fad diets before turning to MFP in March, 2012. My daughter is now 11 months old & since March I have lost 17lb by using MFP to track my calories, eating sensibly, drinking lots of water & doing the 30 Day Shred every morning while the lil' princess is having a nap &…
  • I always do the shred first thing in the morning when the lil' princess is having a nap, I like to get it out the way then go for a walk in the afternoon with her. Where on earth do you find the time & energy to go the gym with such lil' babies? I have an 11 month old & 9 year old, I would love to go the gym but just don't…
  • Well done for you losing so much, I have lost 10lb by walking & doing 30DS every day for the last 27 days. So with your activity levels, 30DS & the help of MFP I bet you will drop the 10lbs in no time
  • Somewhere in this thread are the links to all 3 levels that you can watch online for free if you don't want to buy the dvd. You just have to read through until you find them
  • Only 3 days left for me, I'm soooo excited to take my final pics & measurements. I am loving Level 3!! Can honestly say that I am looking forward to a few rest days once I've finshed then jumping back into it
  • Yep it is definately possible. Like Jillian says "you can make it as easy as you like or as hard as you like, just dont stop moving" Im currently on Level 3, day 5 (today) & at Level 1 I couldn't do push ups, lift weights very well or do the cardio without stopping a million times, now I can do all of Level 3 without…
  • Tone fat?! I've never heard of this before. In the 25 days of doing 30DS I have lost 10lbs. 30DS contributes towards weight loss as well as strengthening & toning. You actually only do 3 minutes of ab work, the rest is strength training & cradio. Strength training is scientifically proven to burn fat alot quicker than…
  • After vowing I would not take a break from 30DS this weekend got the better of me. It was my anniversary on saturday, so I did my workout planning on eating healthy, then my partner suprised me & took me to the beach to enjoy the sunshine & drink lots of alcohol :drinker: I felt ruff as heck on sunday, so I took a day off…
  • Way to go....First 3 days are a killer on your legs & arms but if you can make it through them you will be able to push yourself through the full 30 days. Keep up the good work
  • I use the Kinect on the Xbox & the workout game I use is called "Your Shape: Fitness Evolved". It's a great game fore the fact it has everything on it from cardio workouts, boxercise, pilates, mini games like hula hooping, balancing & much more You can do a fitness test on it & it will give you a personalised…
  • I think this is normal. I had the same problem for the whole of Level 1, the outside of my chest/side of my boobs & armpits were in agony but by Level 2 you do that much planking your body adjusts. I'm on Level 3 now & have no problem doing the lady push-ups & the shoulder planks. Bearing in mind I could only do about 3…
  • Hahahaaaaa oh my days this made me laugh so much, I'm with you on the pelvic floor. After recently having a baby mine is out the window I took to running on the spot sometimes because I was sick of needing the toilet. Just wait until you hit double jump rope, they are a killer on the pelvis
  • Yep he is around on this thread somewhere, he started about a week ago. It's not a firly workout but it has gurls in it  Try it you might like it
  • Day 1, Level 3 for me & it's very deceiveing. I watched it yesterday to see what was coming my way & thought huh that is going to be alot more bearable than Level 2.....Boy was I wrong!! The planks aren't too bad but it's all the jumping with incorporated squating, it's killing my knees. I am so sore now that it hurts my…
  • Haha this made me laugh, I wish I had dropped 8 inches in 10 days. If I had I sure wouldn't be on day 20, I'd of quit at day 10 & been happy minus 8 inches
  • I'm on day 20 & in 'my eyes' I still feel like my body looks the same BUT the scales, the tape measure, my clothes & my partner say different. I've lost 7lbs, 2 inches off my waist, my pants fall down & my partner says I look slimmer along with toned legs. I think we ourselves see what we want to see & in our head we don't…
  • I intially was burning in the 400 range on level 1 using my HRM since moving up to level 2 I burn anything between the 200-350 range. I don't know if this is because I have more stamina & don't need to push myself as hard or because I've lost weight but still a good burn & great workout
  • DO NOT quote me on this but I think it may be water weight, something about your muscles retaining water as they are being used in a way which they haven't been before. I know it is something to do with your muscles anyway! Please try to stay away from the scales though, most people lose inches not weight with 30 day shred…
  • If you have HRM you can input it yourself, with your own burn (which is what I do) OR you can log it as circuit training, general ( what I used to do)
  • somebody has put a link for level 2 & 3 on this thread. You just have to read through to find it
  • Im 5ft 4, 170lb & I am currently on Level 2. Using my HRM to do the workout my burn varies in the range of 250-350. The only way you can be sure is to get yourself a HRM, thay are worth the money & you will know what you parsonaly are burning as opposed to people in general
