I've had a Nordic Track for about 4 years now. I love it. You can do set workouts (which I never do!) or just set everything manually which is what I do. I like to walk at a steep incline.

I want to be fit, strong, healthy, and I want to look good. I'm not sure how many pounds I need to be for that to happen. I'll figure it out when I get there.

Mrs. Pong you have beautiful eyes!

My husband jokes that I have a six pack on my back now. lol I've gained quite a bit of muscle in the last couple of months. The scale is going down really slowly but I can live with that.

I love it! And yarn doesn't make you fat! I can't fit much more in my stash so I either have to knit some of what I have or find a new location to house new yarn.

You look great! We have similar goals. I'm 5'2' and I want to be at 110 or 112 with muscles! The muscles are coming along nicely. I just need to get the scale down more. Way to go!

Well done!

Love that!

I would probably get a better quality scale if I could afford it. I would pick one spot in the house to weigh myself. Make sure its a solid surface and not carpet. You should get an accurate picture of your weight/loss trend that way.

My son has competed two separate times. He will again as he gets older. He will be going to high school next year where he will be on the swimming/diving team. He's really gifted. The last two years, special olympics and swimming/diving were at the same time. My son loved it. It was good exercise. It was good fellowship.…

I don't think it is necessarily bad as in dieting. It is zero calories afterall. I will share that I was told by a doctor to stop drinking soda because it was leaching calcium out of my bones. He showed me on an xray. I used to drink 4 or 5 sodas a day. This is enough to keep me away from it. That I used to drink diet coke…

I get the same way. On busy days I get up and get my workout in at 5 a.m. On days I don't work (weekends) I goof off and struggle to get my workout in because I know I can do it later.

I agree with every other day. One week you go Mon,, Wed., Fri., in the AM. He goes (or has the option to go) Tue., Thurs. You go in the evenings on Tues. & Thurs. He goes in the evenings (or has the option to go) on Mon., Wed., Fri. The next week switch. This is a compromise and you both can go to the gym everyday if you…

I have a totaly gym that I love! We bought it used and it has paid for itself several times over. We also bought one of those ab machines that look like a big red circle. It wasn't worth it at ail for us. It's going in the yard sale.

I think mine is about 66. My blood pressure is fairly low.

I'm pretty much just like you. I'm not a sweaty mess either.

I think people on here will tell you to eat back those calories as the deficit is already factored in. I try to eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full. I know I have read many posts by people who swear by eating them back or not having weight loss.

I know when I begin strength training, I do retain water. I think the muscles retain it to heal. After a few weeks, it levels off and its not a problem anymore. I actually always gain for the first few weeks when I begin exercising after a long break. After that, the scale begins to drop and I start to lose. I've always…

Things just firmed up instead of jiggled. I wasn't a different size just firmer.
