7W5 is done. One to go! Ive decided not to go through round 2. Im really looking forward to adding some weight to my squats and throwing some additional work to get my first real chin up in the mix. Time to move on to Supercharged on Monday. I cant wait!!!

Oh my goodness Stage 6 is finally over for me. Four rounds of antibiotics, then out of control asthma, then I screwed up my wrist (again). Wrist is still in disrepair, but its workable. Im moving on. Stage 7, Ill see you Monday morning.

Non lifting days my cal intake is 1600 and lifting days my cal intake is 1966. Ive taken the slight decrease talked about in the book (I forget how it was worded...-200 or -300 cal maybe??). The absolute hardest workout out in the book is the very first one. The rest are a piece of cake in comparison. Put on your brave face...you got this. :wink: PS - I found Youtube super helpful in trying to figure out some of the lifts. Also, JP Fitness Forums has been a fantastic resource.

I got my 20 sec neg chin today!! Subsequent ones were 12sec and 10 sec. Saw some huge gains in the push up dept too. I was able to do ONE completely unassisted push up. No hang, just lowering as soon as you stop swinging. You want the entire lowering process to take you 20 seconds. Its brutal! ETA: Glad to see you around again!

Hey Cowgirl, glad to see you made it over here! Those neg. chins are no joke! They sure left me sore too. The good new is I wasnt nearly as sore after the second go, just like everything else. Cant wait to see how much progress you make with them on 6A2!

Yippeee!! More life over here! Finished 6A2 this morning. Held the neg chin for 14 sec on the first go this time. Then 10 sec and 7 sec on subsequent sets. Threw some squats in at the end just for giggles and still made it out of the gym in under an hour and 15 minutes. Still seems so strange!

Get it done and get over here! Its lonely in this thread! Stage 6 workouts are so short in comparison to 5. I kept checking my log and checking the book to make sure I didnt copy anything wrong and leave something out.

Did 6B1 today. Loved it! So short and sweet, yet still kicked my backside. Got a good laugh out of myself with the reverse lunge with the dumbbell on the shoulder. Ended up coming down with the flu. Still not 100%, but managed to finish Stage 5 today. Time to move on to Stage 6.
