Fabulous job!! You look wonderful! All your hard work has definitely payed off!!

I just got back home from the gym! In fact, I joined a new gym that happens to be in the same parking lot as my store (I'm a retail manager) and now I will make it a habit to head there after work at least 3 days a week! I have no issues with Planet Fitness, but I did miss the group classes and I hope those will keep me…

Hmmm... I tend to be happy when it's around 2 pounds a week lost. I don't think I'm actually at a maintenance place yet, I look good in clothes, but without is still a different story and I want to feel good about how I look! Maybe I am a little burnt out, but I am stubborn and really want to finish this journey!

Very true! I don't want gifts from a SO, I want time and to know I'm in their thoughts!

This is a really interesting topic. And one that I'm honestly not 100% sure on. When I started my diet and exercise program back in mid January I was a size 20, sometimes a 22 and I weighed in at 261 pounds. Everyone told me that I didn't look that heavy but I didn't feel good about myself. Besides, my sister's wedding was…

OMG I'm dying of laughter! Smartest shoplifting bird EVER!!

261 pounds at 5' 4 1/2" and YES, I do count that half an inch!! ;)

Starting is the hardest part. Now you just have to stick with it!! Great job so far :drinker: :drinker:

I wonder how many of these forum posts are actually real. I mean, there are sooo many of them and each one is full of the same responses that one would think even newbies would think twice before starting a starvation thread. 8 months on a well balanced and healthy diet for me and plenty of exercise (both cardio and weight…

Fabulous work hun! You'll love being in single digits, I just hit there myself. And don't worry, before long you'll stop even recognizing the before picture as yourself. I've even had a few people accuse me of photoshopping mine! LOL

Oh and my favorite (and most common) is when people ask me what my secret is. I tell the truth "I'm doing what we were always told to do.... eat less and exercise more!" to which they usually start asking me which diet pill they should take or what I think of Sensa. That's when I usually just tell them that none of that…

I get that A LOT too! I even had a girl at work tell me that my goal weight was too low as I had told her that I had lost 45 of my 90 pounds so far (my goal is 170 and I'm only 5'4") and that if I kept going I would look like a stick! I looked at her like she was nuts and responded that I'm still in the 200s chickie so I…

I'm a big fan of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and the best part is it's only 20 mins long! I personally am not disciplined enough to create my own routine, but I will try my hardest to do what I'm told especially if I feel a difference. The DVD even has 3 different levels on it so you won't get bored too quickly. I am…

It's definitely about finding a healthy lifestyle that you can live with! Oh and don't forget that you'll soon be setting an example for your little one and it'll be so much easier for them to maintain a healthy lifestyle and weight if they have that background growing up! Just concentrate on one day at a time and…

I'm back too! We can do this

What everyone else said, but I sometimes like frozen grapes too. They're super yummy if they don't thaw out all the way and help keep stuff cool too. But reusable freezer packs (in cute shapes and designs) is what I usually use. My daughter gets a frozen juice box in her lunch. :)

I restarted my weight loss about 2 weeks ago and would love some friends on here this time! :)
-
Same here! I would love to be 160 or 165 (and that seems so very very far away). I just restarted my journey of weight loss a couple weeks ago and even with the big numbers it can be discouraging! I think a goal of 125 would be completely unrealistic for me as I'd probably look like a walking skeleton!

You're doing so well!! I can definitely see the loss. Great job and keep it up! :)
