  • I'm 5'10, I weight 210 lbs and my current goal weight is 170. The lowest weight I've been as an adult was 183 and I found I definitely 'carried it well' as I have a medium or large size frame. I figure I can adjust my goal if I'm not satisfied when I get closer! And by then maybe I will have a performance related goal…
  • I've been working to accept that it just happens! I am human and I am not always going to follow a strict eating regime, and that's okay. What makes us fat in the long term is not one odd weekend, week, or even holiday season necessarily - it's that kind of consumption on an on-going basis. Being mindful of all this helps…

  • Toronto here! Happy to have more local friends, feel free to add me.
  • I haven't tried it but I'm very tempted to buy!! Do you feel sore afterwards?

  • I believe the Nutribullet has more power but I have had a Magic Bullet for years now - it gets the job done. At times there are little bits (seeds, tougher frozen fruit bits) left in my smoothie but it's all going to the same place so I don't mind too much. For a third of the price, I am willing to eat little "bits'.
  • Hey everyone! I just finished my first workout of week 1 today. Looking forward to working this program with everyone.

  • For everyone suggesting Subway. Double up on meat! Really sorts out the macros so protein is on the high side. That said, last time I had the double steak and cheese sandwich it took my body FOREVER to digest that mother.
  • Made this over the weekend and it was delicious!!!
  • I can relate to what everyone has said. I've plateaued at an 80 lb weight loss for nearly 2 years while struggling to reach my goal weight. During that time my body image has changed immensely. I know when I was actively losing I had no idea how much thinner I had gotten. Take progress pictures once a month! It helped…
  • Wait, can I be a ghost if I'm posting here? Damn.
  • I almost backed out of doing my W1D3 run last night because "my body is too tired". Once I forced myself out the door, I felt great and was glad to have gone. Get out there and run! :)
  • Last night I went out for my week 1 day 2 run, it was first time running outside in a year. It was great but I'm sore (I biked 20km today too)! My pace was slow but I am excited to work up my running skills again. Went 1.92 miles in 28:30. Tomorrow I'm planning to do day 3.
  • You look great! Keep it up!!
  • Sept 1: 12KM Sept 3: 3KM Sept 5: 12KM Sept 6: 11KM Total thus far: 38km Goal for Sept: 190km
  • Bit late, happy Friday to everyone. My favourite snacks would be hard boiled eggs, a portion of almonds, a piece of cheese or piece of fruit.

  • Hey everyone, I'm new to the group as well. Joined on account of my pal SLKMERC. My weigh in is 203 lbs. My goal for this month is to get below 200 lbs and bike 180km throughout the month. I am an avid cyclist but just recovering from an injury so slowly working myself back up.
  • Hello everyone! I'm a commuter cyclist who is recovering from a broken toe due to a crash about 6 weeks ago. Been off the bike for as long, just getting back at it now. Went for a 12km ride today & feeling sore after only a short ride. 6 weeks ago I was riding 60km on a sunny Saturday! I'm working on building my endurance…
  • Gotta say... Chrono Trigger!
  • Hey tall ladies. I'm happy to weigh in with my experience. I am 5'10", my high weight was 287 lbs when I was a size 22 (maybe even 24 but I refused to size up). My lowest weight was 183 lbs and I was a size 12. I ended up regaining weight and at 225 I was size 16. I am now weighing in at 203lbs and am a size 14. I am…

  • 5'10" - 204 lbs, Wear a size 12, M/L in tops. XL on any fitted tops as I have broad shoulders. Starting weight was 268, wearing a size 22 & XXL tops.
  • I understand how very easy to get overwhelmed when you have a lot to lose. I started my journey with over 100 lbs to lose, I am now over half way to my goal weight. I recommend you focus on taking it one day at a time, one pound at a time. Start now and just keep putting one foot in front of the other. You will struggle,…
  • Thanks, sounds great! I want to bump the protein content up by adding some meat. What kind of meat should I add that will freeze and re-heat well in the burrito? I am new to freezing my meals :)
  • While we're on the topic of hard boiled eggs, for those of you who boil in advance for the work week - how long do HB eggs stay good once cooked?
  • Is this a serious question???? Edit to be more helpful: If YOU think you have 20 to lose, it's probably because you're carrying extra weight THROUGHOUT your body. Unless you're directly just unhappy with the size of your boobs, this is not it.
  • This has been my experience as well! I always thought I was the big (huge) friend BECAUSE of my weight. Now I realize I simply am larger - that doesn't mean I have to be unhealthy! So I guess to answer the original question - I don't really feel like I'm shrinking but finally realizing my true shape and accepting and…
