Unfortunately those girls/guys in highschool don't actually change (mentally). You just have to learn to be proud of yourself, and hold your head high! Easier said than done I know, but the feeling you get after successfully portraying confidence is AMAZING

To the people that have gone years without it, you're so inspiring! I haven't had a drop of alcohol in almost 9 months. I'm proud =) I've gone out several times to parties and functions without drinking and still had a fantastic time. It's actually pretty rewarding when you see what everyone else looks like the next day…

"Did you try clicking on it?" There's no hyperlink on the article. So she can't click on it. Anifani4, did you try to copy and paste the link in the browser?

Vanguard, the numbers I quoted from the lady are different to the numbers in the link that was posted. The link says protein absorbed is 91% vs 50% from cooked to raw. So there is some incorrect information somewhere. Jimmer, thanks for keeping the thread alive lol. You were useful! Anifani4, she implied that there are…

Merely making a point that there are things that could be considered common knowledge. I'm sure you would be able to think of something. Chicken and beef perhaps? Wasn't meaning to completely derail the topic though. Just wanted to know how 'common' it was for this information to be known.
-
Thanks for the link! Though I have to disagree that "there's no such thing as common knowledge". Lemons and oranges for example. There's an obvious taste difference. Meaning that one doesn't need to be educated to know this. Common knowledge?
Yes you look great!!! Big difference. Your photoshop skills suck. :0)
Was wondering if anyone was going to notice =/ Messed up the quote..

Oh if I could have fruit, I wouldn't have my need for chocolate. I have fructose malabsorption, so that makes things difficult.
-
It must be a "Jenna" thing.. I was so proud of myself when I stopped sugar for a few weeks, That first week is definitely the killer. But after that it's fairly easy. Until you accept an offering of chocolate and the vicious damn cycle starts again!! It's not a weight problem for me. I'm actually trying to gain muscle.…

Just did "the butt bible level 1" workout that a previous poster mentioned. Wow!! Glutes definitely felt the burn, but i think my quads are burning even worse/better lol.

Haven't left the house without foundation on since I was about 13. Back then it was just a cheap liquid one because it's all I could afford. I've been wearing a light powdered one for the last 6 years. Some people just aren't blessed with nice skin..

Amazing.

I laughed so hard I cried as well!! Took a while to finish it because I kept bursting out in fits of laughter and couldn't see the screen through my tears..

You'd be surprised at how easy it is to cut the sugar out of your coffee. You just gradually decrease the amount over a couple of weeks, and you soon develop a taste for it without! I'm so proud of my dad. Surprisingly he's not overweight. But, he used to drink around 15-20 cups of coffee a day. With 2 teaspoons in each!!!…

Just want to say that I ate a whole pizza the other night! I couldn't actually be satisfied by just two pieces. In saying that though, this was the first time in around 4 months that I ate pizza. It could be 6 months before I touch one again. Also the whole thing was just over 900 calories. It was a gluten free base (I…

If they're glued, it's a great time for a body weight workout!

I'm 5'9. Current 122. Goal 132. I have a small frame so I don't look too thin, I just want to gain weight to be a little curvier. Curvier with a lot of muscle I mean. Already rocking the 6 pack, continually working on bulking the behind =)

My GP did the blood test, then referred me to a specialist who I think was a gastroenterologist. She organised the gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Then gave me a referral for the hydrogen breath testing. Here in Australia though, I'm pretty sure you don't need the referral from the specialist for the hydrogen breath test. You…

Why do you suspect it's gluten? Is there family history of it? Or have you just connected it to how you feel after you consume certain things? I just ask because if you want to know if it's Coeliac Disease for example, you need to continue having it until you get tested. A simple blood test can see if you have the gene for…

I had tears today. But from LAUGHTER!! Someone accidentally wrote something wrong that was meant to be serious but the mistake made it hilarious.. I LOL'D so hard I cried =)

gmallan I wish I could like your comment! I'm doing Clinical Pilates with my physio and my core is getting so strong! Even my abs are defined. Win win I say. I recommend getting an exercise ball. My favourite core strengthening exercises at the moment are: Pike Jackknife -Get into the push up position but rest your lower…

Sorry for picture quoting, but this link to the nutella cookies.. Omg. I don't even know what I'm feeling. I have tears in my eyes, a strange feeling in my stomach, and I'm breathing heavily resulting in feeling light headed! Not to mention my jaw is now permanently dropped. I'm afraid you have just created a monster.

I'm 5"9, weigh around 55kgs (121 pounds). I exercise and eat healthy. I can't eat junk food because I have Fructose Malabsorption. Sometimes there just isn't anything that can be done other than taking medication.

I've been informed by my physiotherapist that the plank/hover is no longer on the safe list. She has had quite a few people coming in with excruciating lower back pain and it has been a direct result of the plank. The problem is, you do it until failure. You are holding a certain position for as long as you can, but as you…

OMG you figured it out... Now I wish I put the smaller pic. That's a bit confronting =/

This was earlier today. I'd eaten a tuna, cottage cheese and spinach wrap. A small serve of gluten free spaghetti with kangaroo mince (sweet potato and capsicum sauce). A bowl of cereal. A piece of GF toast and a green tea =)
