Love you and your bf analysis of why people are so nasty on MFP!

Just got my Shine my username is dashaclaire and I would love to have friends to compete with!

I'm just guess here but I would say the calories you wake with are based on how well you sleep/how many times you got up to pee? And I would say if it says you only burnt 1456 then you would want to eat the 1200 if you are trying to lose weight: there is your deficit. Mine is on it's way from Amazon so no info on syncing…

Nachos is my #1 #2 Cheese ravioli #3 warm homemade chocolate chip cookies

Well I can sync pacer but if I do any "real" exercise, it deducts those minutes from the exercise minutes pacer gives me? So I gave up on that method. My bartending shifts consist of 11 hours of intermittent walking so pacer doesn't really do the whole calories burnt well.

Your waist to hip ratio is super attractive! We are the same height and current weight and my stomach doesn't look nearly as good! You should be so proud of yourself. Also I'm friend requesting you immediately so I can have perspective on how long the last 10-15 lbs will take. What is your goal weight?

I feel a little bad posting this because I've gained some back: currently at 155 and dropping. I'll forgive myself though, my Mom died a two days after my after pic was taken and I tried to eat the sadness away (it didn't work) all winter. So now that I am back to eating normal portions of food my new goal is 140ish and…

Well I was around 28 lbs lost around early Dec but then my Mom died and I ate my feelings under a blanket all winter. I gained 18 lbs back. I'm feeling more okay these days, and trying to star back on MFP daily.

Like everybody will tell you on this site: it's calories in vs calories out. I did a lot of high protein/ low carb days because it helped me feel fuller. I'm blessed with a highly active job so I was able to burn it fast. I used a smart phone step counter to keep me honest about my activity level.

Thank you everyone! It took me 3.5 months including many slip ups/cheat days.

My fiancé was serious soda drinker. We had the spend $10,000 to save his teeth. The dentist said not to bother if he wasn't going to quit soda and that soda has "absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever" He still hates water, but uses koolaid single serves to make it palatable (7g of sugar for 16.9 oz vs soda being 45g…

I'm too concerned at what my belly would look like if I stick my butt out!
-
I'm impressed nobody has jumped all over your case yet about eating so little! Usually these threads can be harsh. I used to be a 1200 cal a day girl too, that how I lost most of my weight but I learned that I also lost a lot of muscle losing so fast. Basically you absolutely should never eat less than your BMR. So instead…

You have no idea how happy you've made me! I'm 5'6, 32 yr old, and highly active/to moderately active. start weight: 173 current weight 147.8 goal weight: 143... 2300 cals a day sounds like a comfortable amount I could actually stick with for life.

Ain't that the truth! People ask me "Why don't you have a drink after work anymore?" Because I'd rather spend my calories on delicious foods, what is one drink gonna do? Certainly won't get me drunk. I'm mostly in the I don't regret what I ate just how much I ate camp.... Although corn tortillas covered in tons melted…

Awesome! I'm glad somebody said it! Every thread I read, there he is, being super negative!
-
My guess would be that at 5'9 you wear your weight well and see other, chubbier looking women all time who don't wear their weight well but might be technically a lower BMI/weight than you?
-
Yeah I am one those people. Call me ridiculous if you want but I take pleasure in the simple things in life. Amazing tasting food that I made:) Now I make amazing tasting low calorie, low carb food.

Yes! I promised myself I could eat all that I want on Thanksgiving but I had to buckle right back down after... and I've started each day well... But that pumpkin cheesecake tho, I decend into snack monsta! And the leftovers are all in my fridge:(
-
Yeah I had a epic cheat day yesterday: I ate freely and enthusiastically, big traditional Thanksgiving meal and then desserts pumpkin cheesecake, Dutch apple pie, and banaoffe pie (which has 700+ calories in one slice) and then I did it all again around 11pm. I did a quick add 10,000 calories which is probably an under…

paleomg.com/clean-it-up-mondays-ginger-cilantro-baked-chicken/ Made this for dinner tonight and it was amazing! I don't buy that marinade just toss my chicken in olive oil, fresh ginger diced, fresh garlic diced, fresh cilantro diced and salt and pepper... And then put it all in the pan. I love a one pan recipe!

175... 7 years ago, seeing 173, 4 months ago is what sent me running back to MFP!

Have you been checked for thyroid issues?

Betray his trust?!? You are an adult and should NOT need his permission for anything except having sex with other people. Live free and do whatever you feel like doing everyday (because you might run out of days sooner than you think). That being said, parties are kind of overrated but yes you should go check it out...…

I just came here to see if this was about 'roids or actual juicing. Yes I am a bad person.
-
Just got home from a my 12 hour bar shift... Working my *kitten* off is a good calorie burn. I just want to say goodnight and that I'm always happy to see the official night shift thread in full effect!
-
Quick add a 5000 calorie day, and that's probably being overly kind... I love pie!
-
I love wine, I really really do BUT I love pumpkin pie (with so much whipped cream on it that you can not see the pie anymore) way more! Fresh homemade desserts in general are so damn good.
-
My general plan was to eat whatever I wanted for the day BUT this plan sounds far less likely to end in a tummy ache! I shall practice moderation!
-
I also had that happen to me twice, people can be so insensitive:( but it pushed me here and now I've lost most of my belly! Feel free to friend me, I'm on here everyday... MFP is great the more you use it the more you'll want to!
