I wish I was in, but I'm Canadian, so we've already had our feast day, dammit.

I still weigh daily for this exact reason. I used a spreadsheet to figure out my true TDEE while I was losing and it's still useful data to have.

But what are their helath and fitness goals? I lost 20 pounds in four months when I started IF, and then I've gained back three pounds over the last year continuing with it. But I've gone down three dress sizes. Scale weight doesn't matter so much to some of us as body composition does. Daily IF is really just how I like…

I've been maitaining for almost a year now and I'm on here everyday. :)

It's almost all genetics, unfortunately. Look to your mom..did she have a lot of stretchmarks after having her babies? Like others have said, lifting weights and losing slowly helped me reduce my loose skin while losing 100+ lbs, but I still had an area on my lower abdomen that required surgery to really get rid of it all.…

If you're like me, it will be the LAST place you lose the fat. I'm maintaining, but I still have a slight muffin thing going on that is only noticable when I wear the wrong clothing for my shape. You can see the difference between your two photos - it's cutting into your hips and making it look way worse than it actually…

I started maintaining my weight right before Christmas last year, so I plan on staying within +/- three pounds, same as any other time of the year.

I've lost over 100 pounds eating at night, every night. The only way you stop burning calories is when you kick the bucket. I don't need to provide you with a peer-reviewed article for that, do I?

I believe this may be the only answer needed here. There are no quick fixes and even with surgery you still need to be accountable as to what goes in your own mouth. OP, if you really can't control your eating, then that's a mental thing you need to deal with. Maybe putting in the work it takes to actually log all that you…

True. However, if you do both resistance training and HIIT as workouts, you should do them on the same day as they both affect your CNS in similar ways. (Stength first, then cardio.) You need at least a day in between each type of workout to recover properly, so combining them on the same day is part of the beauty of HIIT…

I have a health and wellness subsidy at work, so I only pay $10/month. I can use the subsidy to pay for any gym, but I chose Goodlife because I can go to any of their clubs in Canada.

I got a EatSmart Precision scale that differentiates between athletic and non-athletic readings. The non-athletic setting says I'm at 23% and the athletic one says 16.9% I had a BodPod test done and came in at 16.3%, so I'm pretty satisfied with that scale. (I know that both tests may not be totally correct, but they're…

Taos, New Mexico. It's beautiful!

My hubby and I have always had a wonderful sex life, and losing weight hasn't changed it, really. (Except for squats...there's a muscle on the back of each of my thighs that wasn't used much before and now it's always uber sensitive...that's really awesome. ;) )

Mine, too, and it drives me nuts. I make my son read for at least an hour a night, just so he has SOME study habits going into high school.

As a woman, I may eat 1600 on days I'm not feeling well and have no appetite. Please don't make blanket statements like that. People need to figure out what their own calorie level is, not just some generic number you think is sufficient because of their gender.

It's WAY more common than you think actually. A friend of mine has a (fairly wealthy) work contact who uses a local, higher end restaurant as his prefered business meeting place. All because the "ladies" who work there know that a fair amount of business men (and women) will pay for the booze and blow once they get invited…

Search the groups. This is a good one: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/49-intermittent-fasting

See a doctor, and bring a printout of a few days of your diary and describe your daily activity and exercise. For me, a low fat diet was the worst thing I ever did. Fat regulates your hormones, and hormone imbalances can lead to hair loss. I had to cut out soy, as well - too much extra estrogen. My hair has rebounded since…

God no...don't give up vodka! ;) Check out this link. It should help you set a reasonable calorie goal for yourself. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1

I do believe you're missing the point. There's are big differences between cute and classy, as well as sexy and trashy.

Glad this one got a little bump!

Yes, it's in your overall weekly average. I deep cleaned my house like that weekly when I was fat and I don't clean any harder now, so I try not to fool myself. I would only be setting myself up for failure.

There you go! I found these two links incredibly helpful. Once I educated myself on how this all works, it wasn't a struggle anymore, just a matter of applying the information. (The motivation for that comes from you, but motivation comes easier once you empower yourself.)

Dude...1200 can be any given lunch for me!
