You can't spot reduce, but try concentrating on ALL OVER toning. you may find that you will lose a few more pounds, but even if you don't, if you're toned, you will be surprised what a difference it can make. I think you look good. Thin but not SKINNY (who wants to see your ribs or hipbones poking out your clothes? NOT…

This - kind of. On 1200 calorie goal, I leave 250-300 for dinner. I use about 250 on breakfast, 500 for lunch (my most active time of the day and I have to go the longest before I can have a snack), and about 200 for a mid-day snack. Anything I've "earned" I use on added protein for mid-day snack or dinner - whichever I…

^^ this. I wear a HRM and never burn more than 165 on 30DS

By cutting red meat consumption, switching to unrefined coconut oil and eating more veggies and lean proteins, both my hubby and I have dropped our cholesterol. HIs was super high and they wanted to put him on meds. That made him "willing" to eat more like I do and, even though he doesn't eat QUITE as healthy, his…

opening your diary can make more info available to help. That being said, check your calories. are you eating enough? check your water. Are you getting enough? check your sodium. is it low enough? all things (and more) people can help with if you open your diary.

I only delete if its more than a weekend (without notice - your friends usually mention going on vacations) AND habitual lapsing. Other than that I only delete whiners (I don't know why I can't lose - then you check their diary and its full of junk or blank and no exercise logged). I know it seems harsh, but my journey is…

Prevaricate. Something I TRY not to do! If you could save one THING in your home from any and all harm, what would it be?

my husband has serious depression issues. Living life is a struggle daily for us both - him because of his depression, my just dealing with the effects it has on our family. If you've never experienced this, you cannot judge. In any case, as an adult, you should know not to judge those whose shoes you've never walked in.

I weigh in every Friday and measure at about the middle of each month  While my weigh will keep dropping, my measurements take time to "add up".

my first jobs (I had three at once) were cashier for Aubuchon Hardware, warehouse and sales staff for Thom Mcann Shoes and overnight Inn Desk Staff for a local Inn (that has since gone). I was 17 and FINALLY able to get off the farm and make my own money... funny how NOW I wish for my farm chores and haying days instead of…

I have, and have been doing, the 30DS. 1) the weeks I took off from the program, I only lost .2 and .4 - when I started back up again, I have been losing .8 - 1.6lbs per week. 2) I can feel it and I can SEE it - especially in my legs. 3) all told, 20 of my 37# have been lost during my 30DS ( I started about 3 months in) I…

On occasion,to fill my "I wanna burger" monster, I will slip these "burgers" into my menu plan. They look like burger (hubby tried one because he thought they WERE burger) but they have a milder taste. Play with the spices, if you want something different (awesome with some red curry paste mixed in or drop the thyme and…

I had the same fear not long ago, but I discovered if I logged it (and wrote it down when I couldn't connect w/ MFP) and was AWARE of what I was eating, I did okay. Have small portions of things, don't be afraid to bring it back with you for later, exercise as much as you can in any form that you can - even walking slowly…

So this week, I wasn't able to get my water in on Saturday and Sunday due to camping and having AWFUL tasting water. However, the rest of the week, I floated like a little fishy in its own little pond :drinker: I am down 1.6# this week for a new weigh in of 215.4 :drinker: I cannot even begin to tell you how worried I was…

Here's one for y'all that has become my saving grace  Oh - and its a new obsession  Zippy Spinach Artichoke Dip serves 4 1- 10oz pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry 100g onion, minced 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 cans Cento quartered artichoke hearts (NOT the marinated kind), chopped 1/2 c light…

Christina Aguilera - Candyman " - ain't no other man " - fighter david guettea ft. Akon - sexy chick Kesha - take it off The ONLY time I listen to these is during a workout - if I try listening to them while working or just puttering around, I find I want to run  Sometimes running just isn't appropriate

I like to take the zest and juice of two lemons, two cloves of garlic, 1/2 t sea salt, 1 t onion powder, and 1t red pepper flakes. I use this for two bone-in chicken breasts, two whole legs or four boneless breasts or bone-in thighs. 20 - 30 minutes in the marinade, grill or bake and enjoy :D If I make rice, I strain the…

okay. Both my sister and I have used them... and stopped due to some rather.... unsavory "side effects". They were more than I could deal with. It made me VERY self-conscious due to odor that you CANNOT control no matter how you try. :noway: NOT my idea of a good time

Now for myself  1) I weighed in @ 217.0 lbs (down .6# from last week) 2) 16 miles done 3) I am not sure of team milage :ohwell: 4) water comes out to 13.5 glasses - rounding to 14 :drinker: And I agree - I am staying with the 15 mile challenge - definitely a great one. While I have and could have moved more, it…

I have multiple food allergies as well - mainly gluten, dairy (casein), and bananas. My diet is limited but by concentrating on using things like quinoa, fish, sprouted corn/ rice, as well as any veggie I can get my hands on with hummus, I can easily meet my 1200 calorie goal. Its a matter, FOR ME, of increasing portion…

Great job on both counts! :drinker: I can attest to the soda addiction thing.. I have a REALLY hard time drinking pepsi - way too sweet and "off" flavor now. I do have an occasional root beer, but it still isn't tasting as good as I "remember" it. I love to drink unsweetened iced tea or cucumber lemonade (sugar free) made…

muscle won't "jiggle" do toning exercises and lower your body fat %

THIS^^^ I WAS anorexic all through high school due to peer pressure and childhood nicknames I (at the time in a teenagers mind) had because I was "fat". The ONLY thing that helped me, made me realize how unhealthy it was, was getting pregnant with my twins. THEY were more important to me than my weight and I started eating…

I started with WII Zumba 2 and LOVED it while having success with it. The calorie burn, just FYI, was always super high for me, but I only counted HALF of the calories for my burn vs. what they posted burned. I found the WII Fit Board was really only good for yoga because I wasn't able to burn enough calories within a…
