  • 5' and 1 whole inch dedicated to my program and butt kicking  if you're up for more friends feel free to add me
  • Welcome to MFP  Feel free to add me as well.
  • Same. Unless its a DEEP cleaning and takes TIME, I dont' log it.

  • Hello and welcome! Feel free to add me - I am a regular on here and have remained dedicated to my program. I only require a couple things from my friends... Be consistant, be dedicated to YOUR program and drink your water!
  • Welcome  This is a great place to find motivation and inspiration! Just remember the key is YOU. You have to make the choices that get you where you want to be. It ISN'T quick and it ISN'T always easy, but you CAN do this!!!! Add me if you'd like a friend. I warn you, though, I DO push (friendly-like) as I am…
  • First, may I say, you've lost over 50lbs and that is NO small feat! You should be proud of yourself! If your menus for the last few days are an example of how you've been eating, you're doing fine with your food! Keep your sodium down (which it seems has been okay) and get in your water. If you find something isn't filling…
  • you can add me if you wish. I am on regularly and have been consistant with my own program. I can "push" you and try to inspire, as anyone on here can, but its up to YOU to do the work  Something i find helpful, is having MFP as one of the pages that automatically opens when you click on your internet (just like…
  • Hmmm.. reading, crocheting, sewing, cooking, and grooming my dogs among the regular house cleaning and other home chores
  • Thank you! This is a great site
  • I'm GF AND DF (casein) and try to keep my meat low - I use tempeh quite a bit. I know you don't like tofu, I don't either too much, but this has a milder flavor than tofu. I use the flax variety as I KNOW its GF. I just made "sausage" crumbles with it and used it on a GF DF pizza... YUMMY!
  • Great job! :drinker: I know that I too have those thoughts when my run first starts - especially if I run after a ten hour workday... but I love when i hit the point when i ENJOY the run :bigmsile:
  • okay. sooo... 38YO female 5'1" SW 252 CW 213 I started with JM 30DS and walking I Now do Turbo Fire 6X/ week as per the schedule given, run 1 - 2 X/week, gardening as it needs it and Zumba 1X/week (Included in the TF is toning/core/strength "classes")
  • I too workout after my workday of ten hours. I have found my Vega Sport pre-workout boost does me wonders! I get through a one hour workout and can give it a good go (as opposed to just "going through the motions"). I have found, however, I cannot expect to take it late and have it wear off before its time for me to go to…
  • I like Turbo Fire - its a different "class" every day and I'm never bored, but, to be honest, laziness can become a problem in ANY workout program if you let it. The REAL challenge comes I getting your butt moving on days you just don't feel like it. :ohwell:
  • I started with over 130 lbs to lose. You CAN do this. Start slow, build up and remember that all movement is more than you were doing before you started. Each day you move is a day of progress. As you increase the days of progress, you will find it easier to increase your distance. Ice muscles that hurt, ibuprofen if…
  • I can only attest to the jogging as I don't bike, but the jog looks right.
  • First, I find when I have a lot of simple/ white carbs, I feel like a bloated toad in the sun and it carries through the next morning. If I stick to more complex carbs, this isn't as bad. I was losing my hair but discovered it was my shampoo - i'm gluten allergic and didn't know it contained any :ohwell: not so bad…
  • Ditto - and well said BTW  It something that will be with me most of my life and I refuse to let the "visit" derail my program - I don't let it interfere with work or errands, why let it interfere in other areas of my life?
  • The above is the same for me. I also remember to take an allergy med before since its allergies COMBINED with the exertion that set mine off. Since your doc is obviously not "for" your exercise improvement (the oddest advice from a doctor I've ever heard!!), build gradually - you may have to start walking then…
  • your best bet would be to contact Polar directly
  • Turbo Fire here and I LOVE it :D. Most of my weight loss has been due to TF
  • soup by way of a Bisque style would work well with onion/garlic/carrot/celery/butternut (or acorn) squash-just roast in the oven (with a tiny amount of olive oil) until golden, puree in a blender with chicken broth until smooth and creamy a pinch of sea salt, top with some low fat sour cream if you wish. tomato sauce: you…
  • DITTO!! LOL and I'm ready for a new pair of running shoes! :drinker:
  • gluten, dairy (casein) and bananas here :ohwell: It has been a challenge but I have found ways to make MOST of my favorites that taste pretty close :drinker: I mainly just avoid processed foods, with the exception of a handful of things, and stick to whole foods.
  • This is one of my faves  I can add chicken to it, but I most often just eat it as written  Grilled Southwestern Salad serves 2 @ 197 calories each Romaine Lettuce - 1 Head Bush's - Black Beans - Low Sodium - Drained and Rinsed, 1/2 cup Onions, Sweet, Raw 100 g chunked Peppers, Sweet, Red, Raw,100 grams…
  • super easy: sauté onions and celery, add cooked quinoa, cooked chicken breast, chicken broth, fresh lemon zest and juice, top with an egg ( beat, cook into a tiny omelet and julienne) and fresh parsley. S&P as desired  ( I used egg beaters instead of the whole egg )
  • when I can't even look at your profile to get a "hint" of who you are, what your goals are, how serious you are about things? FR isn't possible :ohwell:
