I seriously think that the muscles in my face are the only muscles I own that aren't sore right now... It's such a great feeling.

Shoulders and Arms + Ab Ripper today. By far the easiest workout so far (not easy, just easier)...with the exception of the Ab Ripper. Felt too early to be doing it again. I was really sore from Monday still! Feeling good after day 3...87 to go!

Thanks for the replies, folks. I'll have to look back at the nutrition plan and see if I miss calculated. Thanks for the heads up, Nunley. GFR...I am an RN, but gave the hospital nursing life up long ago. 4 years of Army nursing was enough to cure me of wanting to do that for the rest of my life. I have since sold my soul…

I'm struggling with you here...based on my weight (240lbs) and activity level with P90X, I should be consuming 3400 total calories per day! I can do it if I'm eating Oreos and Root Beer floats, but it is hard to get that many calories and maintain the 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20% fat balance that the P90X nutrition plan…

Then I wanted to eat all I could due to the fact that I wouldn't get it again for awhile. The good thing is that I hit the gym with a vengeance this…

I have to tell you that avoiding the junk has been the hardest part for me. Hot Tamales, gummy bears, Oreos, and a root beer float have been a daily occurance for me for a long time. A couple of things that have helped me: 1)Like the poster above said...count calories. If you hold yourself to a certain number of calories…

1) No fast food...no fast food...no fast food. 2) Cut calories from about 4000 to about 1800 3) Gym time 5 days/week...thank god for the workout partner. Mutual accountability is a wonderful thing.

This is timely as yesterday was my birthday and, needless to say, I let the diet slip a bit...to the tune of fajitas, chips and salsa, birthday cake and ice cream...I also overslept yesterday and missed my workout! :embarassed: Felt guilty going to bed last night, but woke up this morning renewed and ready to get back on…
