Honesty may be a good policy but it is also none of any one's business and if people want to ask intrusive and invasive questions, I see no reason to give them all the gory details of what I'm going through with my surgery. I have no intention of lying but at the same time, just as I don't tell people the specifics of how…

Because I don't want to die from being fat like my grandmother did and like my mother is well on her way to doing. I don't want to spend my 'golden years' with a quality of life that is terrible - unable to get around or hooked up to a oxygen tank or a walking pharmacy. We only get one go around. Thanks for the words of wisdom. It's so easy to get caught up in my own head with all the worries and insecurities.

I'm still struggling to get enough in. I just have zero desire for food right now. If I have to look at another protein shake, I might lose my…

There are no deadlines, no phones, no dishes in the sink calling my name, no vacuuming to be done, no couch and remote…

Looking at this site is tremendously motivating. No airbrushing or anything - just real people. I am excited all over again. I need to save this site for times when my priorities need a boost.

I've been thinking about running too. I had torn meniscus surgery a year ago, bunion and hammer toe surgery two years before that, and have dealt with plantar fascitis off and on for years. I also wore leg braces as a kid. I am going to talk to my doctor at my next appointment and get his two cents worth but I'm thinking…
