Mfp is designed with a calorie deficit already calculated so if you eat the exercise calories you put in you should still lose. Try eating a bit more if you have an active lifestyle, mfp recommends 1200 net (calories in - calories burnt, so if youre exercising youd be inputting those calories and eating them back) if you want to lose 2lbs a week but for a lot of people that isnt realistic.

I know i shouldnt have sugar, my cups of tea get me through the day though! Have cut down a lot and not had any chocolate in ages haha, gone are the days of me saving my calories for treats everyday! Are you picking 3 times a week because its in the middle and therefore a good place to start? Thanks :)

Im 25, 5'3" and 143lbs, aiming to get to about 120 :) At the moment im alternating jillian michaels dvds (30 day shred and 6 week 6 pack) with zumba dvds :)

LOVE THIS THREAD! You all look mega. I'm 5'3" and currently 143, looking to get down to 120ish. High weight was between 170-180 and low weight was 134 last year when I went on holiday. I didn't work out at all back then though so I look better at 143 than 134 really.

It depends if you took your exercise into account when you chose your activity level. I chose sedentary and therefore any extra exercise I do I can eat those calories back if I want them, but if you choose active because you work out every day then don't eat those calories back. Hope that helps!

If you're tired all the time you should eat more. As long as you're eating less than your TDEE you should be losing, but eating too little for your daily needs isn't going to be sustainable and you're more likely to give up and gain the weight back.

Also agree with these guys! When I lost weight (down from 170-180) I was a lot more confident in myself and people liked me more because I was more fun! There are women I idealize and think are beautiful who weigh more than I do, I don't care how skinny other people are anywhere near as much as I care about how skinny I am.

^This^ is I think the key thing. I used to be 170-180lbs (never weighed myself in that time), went down to 134lb, gained a little bit back but I've maintained at 140lbs pretty solidly since that. I just didn't go back to eating as much as I ate before.

I've always had them, all my weight's on my hips and thighs.

Yeah on one hand that's what they get paid for but on the other it's horrible when a manager comes to talk to you about something awkward. I vote for the anonymous note thing. If she already knows and it's a medical thing she can get some mints/mouthwash and try to make it better, it may be that she has an underlying issue…

I've been using zumbacalories.com on the advise of somebody on here too, i dont have a hrm so i dont know how accurate it is but it seems to give a pretty good indication, i select the moderate intensity to make sure im not under or over estimating.
