I can't vouch for this 100%, but I believe they'll state their circumference. I do know they have sizing on the label, but that doesn't help since to see the label you have to buy it LOL. I suggest measuring yourself where you'd wear it, and have a look online. I don't know if it's because Polar is awesome (I own a Polar)…

I admire your will power. I had to replace my peanut butter with PB2/Just Great Stuff because peanut butter is my enemy. I can't have just one spoonful. And just some chocolate chips? Really... you are amazing!!

Every week we buy these no matter what: Dried edamames Soy beans Almonds Almond milk Bananas Seasonal fruit Spinach Greek yogurt Then we supplement. Sometimes we buy fish (usually salmon), and once a month we buy beef (lean, ground, and organic) or chicken or pork. I usually don't eat that because meat just grosses me out…

This requires a stability bal, but the 10-Minute Solutions Pilates Ball DVD is great. You can do it in 10-minute increments depending on how much time you have. this really leans me out. Tae Bo DVDs are great too, especially on days I want more than just 20 minutes for a workout. I use the Cardio and Ab ones that I bought…

I don't want to get your hopes up, but if you eat clean (I mean it - no take out, fast food or anything "bad") and actually walk or exercise 5-6 days a week you could even lose more than 20 by Christmas. The heavier you are, the more you lose at first. It's not uncommon for heavier people to lose 10 lbs in a month. the…

We have MorningStar, gardein and Litehouse products in the freezer just in case I don't have enough time to make the already planned dinner. Otherwise we don't use the mregularly because even if they're vegetarian and healthier, they're still processed frozen foods.

Like others said, your caloric intake is pretty low. Given that you're probably very sedentary given your condition, I would stick with 20% below your BMR (you can figure it out at fat2fitradio.com). I also suggest better portioned meals. Make breakfast and lunch a bit bigger, and add three snacks through your day so that…

I'm thinking that it's coming across to us in a different light than it was dished. Men can say some really dumb and hurtful things unintentionally to their wives. They make entire comedy shows about it sometimes! LOL. My point is, I think he just made a few comments that he didn't think about. Of course he should be able…

Did it ever change the weight reading throughout the day for you? Like, say you weighed in at 8 AM and it was 150, then at 3 PM and it was 153 (water weight, time of day change)? Or does it pretty much stay the same number for you the whole day? (Throughout your owning it)

Welcome aboard! You can add me if you'd like :) I had our only child in 2009, and only got around to trying to seriously lose it this January/February. I'm now lighter than when we were married, but still have 3-5lbs to go until my UGW. Still working on flatter tummy :-/ (I had a C)

Nope! My hubby is fitter than me, and since I do all the cooking we basically eat the same things except since he needs lots more calories than me I just hand him some homemade wheat bread or bake him a healthy treat. We run together though when we can :)

I'm kind of like you -- I just don't like meat. I'm lactose-intolerant so we really don't eat much dairy other than Greek yoghurt and froyo. I eat meat on occassion because of the nutrients and I need iron, but other than that I try to eat as vegetarian as I can LOL. I do love me fish though. Anyways, I love black bean…

I count everything. Even mints. I know 5 kcals isn't a huge thing, but it's a pricinple for me. I know a lot of people who don't track how much sodium they actually take in, like when adding salt to foods. Then they don't know why they can't shed weight or are always bloated LOL. Spices are good to count, if you use more…

That is a great NSV!

To add to the above poster, I would also recommend buying a digital food scale. You can buy them fairly cheaply and they're a great investment. Don't eyeball anything. If you can, measure things in grams and in metric. You can do cups and what not but the metric system is slightly more accurate.

I don't think it is buyer's remorse. I'm wondering if he just wants you to lose weight but still hold onto some nice curves for him. Some people don't like a lot of muscle showing like in the picture you posted. I, personally, don't like men "that ripped" either. I've requested that my husband not get too obsessive about…

It's on our tiled bathroom floor, and I make sure the feet are always on a tile not in the grout :ohwell: I have to buy the batteries yet, will do tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone may have scale advice (which others are better) or if anyone may know much abotu this one specifically. I'll have a look online to see if…

Are you able to report their owners or even kindly ask the owners to fence them or leash them? Most neighborhoods and places have leash laws. My only issue is when they're being walked by their owner and the owner still lets the dog chase me even on it's friggin' leash.

I bought it from Bed, Bath & Beyond though :-/ I also didn't save the receipt nor the box so I feel screwed!

I can't see your diary, so I can't tell you if you're eating too much carbs, not enough protein, bad fats, etc. 1,200/day isn't high at all. In fact, it's the MINIMUM you should eat as a woman to lose weight regardless of height (unless you're incredibly short -- like under 4'10"). For the first month, to jump start your…

All of this! ^ I was this way with smoking for many months before i finally WANTED to quit, so I did. Cold turkey.

The more fit, the more fuel is needed :) Everyone else has given exactly the right answers.

In honesty, if someone is so obese that they cannot use a machine because the machine cannot hold them they need to seek professional help so that they don't hurt themselves physiologically or physically. A trainer would be a great start, or ask their doctor what are recommended exercises. They would probably just be lifts…

I struggle with chocolate! :)

LOL I know.. I can't do an entire weekend. I almost panic when we have to leave town for vacation. My first thought is, "What will we EAT?!" ;-) Best of luck to you! It's a scary thing to enter the maintenace mode!

I'd have to agree with everyoen else. Cut out so much of the cheese, sour cream and peanut butter. Find a powdered peanut butter if you can, eat cheese a lot more moderately if that's a must for you, and try to just cut out the sour cream for a while. Everything in moderation.

We are eating cleaner and cleaner as each months passes by :) We are actually acquiring healthy tastes, and fast food either makes us physically ill when we consume it or we just don't like the taste anymore. We're still working on not liking pizza though ;-) I have a 2.5 year old daughter, semi-picky eater and lover of…

You seem to have the healthy perspective of "cheating", so go for it in *your* way. If I cheat in the way my friends do, I would gain weight (like they do). They like to take the entire weekend off and just eat whatever, not exercise and then start again Monday-Friday. Unfortunately, our bodies don't care what day of the…

Also - I never go to bed THAT hungry. I don't mind if I feel snacky, or if I could even tolerate a small sandwich, but if my stomach is growling and hurting and I am unable to sleep due to hunger, it means I need to eat. Hence -- you need to eat if you can't sleep! If you've just started, I'd wait to start eating before…

That means you're not sedentary :) Try eating 6 times a day. This is just an example of the times for the meals and snacks, but it's just to give you an idea: Breakfast (8 AM) Snack (10 AM) Lunch (12 PM) -- last call for carbs like breads (not carbs from fruits) Snack (2 or 3 PM) Dinner (5 PM) Snack (7 PM) Around the 2 PM…
