I have decided to act on the advice that I am eating too few calories;according to the Mifflin-St Jeor calculations, I need 1328 calories per day in order to lose weight. I start with breakfast and end with the last thing I eat , sometimes dinner, sometimes a snack, before I go to bed.

I use tap water to make tea but use bottled sparkling water flavored with "No added sugar" cordial as extra water. I make up a 2 litre bottle to keep in the 'fridge and use throughout the day.

This sounds great and I can't wait to try it. Just one question, what does "Bump" mean? I realize that it has nothing to do with the recipe of course. I've seen it on various posts but have not worked out what it means.

Hello, I thought I had posted a similar message earlier today but I must have done something wrong as it hasn't appeared. I am well over 50 years old -25 years over in fact. Does this rule me out? I joined today and am trying to find my way around the site, any help would be appreciated.
