  • Thank you - this is exactly the kind of guide I was looking for!
  • I have a fuel band and I love it!! I originally got it back in March but that one was very messed up - any time they'd do a firmware update, I'd lose data, etc. After several false starts and then it finally completely not working anymore, Nike exchanged it for a new one. I've probably been using this new one since…
  • Tears in my eyes - what an amazing story!!! Thank you for sharing!
  • I for the most part always eat back my exercise calories - if my body is working harder on a day I'm working out than on a day I'm not, it needs more fuel. I exercise to get stronger and leaner, not for a big calorie burn. I want this to be for life and the rest of my life can't be spent at bare minimum calories - I'd…
  • uh oh.....My sisters and I decided we were going to have one night a week where we work out together and decided it would be Monday, based on our schedules... :frown: I'll have to see how tonight goes....
  • 2 things - My knees - I have severe arthritis in one, moderate in the other. A bad fall scared me - if I don't lose weight/get in shape I could end up in a wheelchair before the Dr's are ready to do knee replacements. And knowing knee replacements are in my ftuture, I know I'm not physically ready for that surgery. The Dr…

  • One of the best posts I have read on here....I have kept my diary locked and have not really put myself out there to make friends because I view this as my journey, one that is a constant learning experience and work in progress - some of the comments on posts have scared me from being more open. I need to figure this out…
  • SF Jello chocolate pudding or a SF fudge popsicle does the trick for me. I also keep a bag of Dove dark chocolate in the fridge for emergency chocolate situations - one piece is more than enough to satisfy a craving!
  • Definitely pear shaped and it takes me close to 25lbs to lose a size, though from past experience, after the first size drop, it goes a little quicker (more like 15 to 20 lbs for the next size, etc...)
  • Everyday for me first thing in the morning, for right now, but only Monday's weight is recorded - I know the scale will fluctuate and I expect it to, so I don't let it bother me. But, it's too easy for me to let one day away from the scale become 6 months from the scale and that becomes a problem. Measurements I'll only be…
  • You.Look.Amazing!!!! My jaw is on the floor - it is an unbelievable transformation!! And while I love seeing everyone's transformations, yours really got to me as your my height, just a few years younger than me, and your starting weight was just a few pounds more than mine - seeing your results has made me go from hopeful…
  • New here, but wanted to respond....to put it out there in case I'm struggling and need a reminder.... I battled my weight in my teens, and all through my 30's...I'm 42 now and the change was building....first there were some horrific pictures of me at a wedding (you can practically see my stomach fighting to burst…
