i originally thought it was the cold weather, but I suffer from some depression issues and its mainly making myself get out of bed at 6am and run like I was before. I was thinking about the gateway too. I printed off the program and was looking at the podrunner as well. I cant wait to get up to 8 and 10 km!!!!Then its on to the half marathon (hopefully!!!!) I'm so glad everyone is here!!!!

I just got the F7 and it is the best product out there. Polar is a great name and the only problem i can see being an issue later on is parts. if something is discontinued it will be very hard to replace the part which could make purchasing a more expensive/better model worthless. ihope that helps. i find my F7 is great…

wow...I must just say, I bought a Polar F7 heart rate monitor and I am IN LOVE with it. It renewed my urge to work out. I strap it on everytime I got to work out and am constantly amazed by the number of calories it tells me I have used :)

hey...thanks for the tip on the mapmyrun.com.....I've never used it becuase I didnt think it would work in Canada, especially in the small town i live in...BUT IT DID!!! I just used it to map my 5km run which I am going to attempt tomorrow :) woo hoo bring on the fun!!!!

i was reading an article ina running magazine today and it said that walk breaks were optional in shorter runs but mandatory in longer runs to maintiain a good pace all the time! Apparently its best to run 10 minutes and walk 1 minute then run 10 minutes again. I dont know if that helps, but I end up taking the odd walk…
