For the record: Muscle does not weigh more than fat. One pound of muscle and one pound of fat both weigh one pound. It's a density issue. One pound of muscle takes up less space than one pound of fat. Therefore, you should rely on inches lost and not the numbers on the scale.

If you feel up to it, I don't see a problem with doubling up. Just make sure you eat a few extra calories that day so you don't crash the next.
