Definately measure! I was discouraged a while back that I had not lost much weight over almost 5 months. Then we measured and I had lost a total of 15.5 inches!! Remember going to the gym and working out builds muscle which is good. But, muscle weighs more than fat. So, don't get so discourged by the numbers on the scale.…

Hey from Ooltewah ,Tn. I just turned 53 in Jan. I just started using MFP , so I missed the Jan. goals. My goals for February will be. 1) Keep trying to eat healthier 2) Attend ALL of my Tues. and Thurs. exercise classes. 3) Get in at least 3 walks per week 4) lose 4+ pounds Good luck to all of you witj your personal goals!!

There is no "bad". Healthy and unhealthy eating choices sound less judgemental. :) It's ok as long as you stop the binge.tomorrow is another day You CAN do it!

Just turned 54 on the 16th.I completely understand. I lost over 90 lbs in my early 30's. Just by eating healthier and excercising. While it wasn't easy then it is much harder now!! I have even more to lose now. I starting gaining back my weight after having a herniated disk in my back and then injuring my knee in my mid…
