I currently weigh 130lbs and am aiming for 119 (although will likely stop at 122). My BMR is around 1350 as sedentary although I am a school teacher so should probably be lightly active. I am exactly the same stats as you and MFP also set me at 1200 and I eat back my exercise calories. However, after reading all about BMR I checked what mine was and its about 1480 sedentary (even though I'm a teacher so probably should be lightly active). I therefore upped my calorie intake to 1400 and eat my exercise…

Our CW and GW are pretty much the same. I am aiming for 1400 cal a day - lose weight slower but long term and eating back exercise calories. Feel free to add me for support. I decided not to stick to the 1200 either as fat2fit worked out my BMR as around 1400 so didnt want to eat below this!

Would I also then add my workout calories separately? As I burn around 400 calories at the gym most days too?

Well I was there almost two hours doing cardio. And set the machines up correctly with my weight etc so think its pretty accurate. Not really that hungry now!

I have this problem today too. I had a complete blow out at the weekend and wanted to do a really great workout today. I ate 1200 calories today but I burnt off 900 at the gym so my net is really low. Not sure if I should eat some more tonight to increase my net?!

Thanks hun - its only one blow out! I attempted the calorie count - think I made it about 4000 for Saturday and the fry up has added to todays. Got no effort for the gym ha! Going to go to the gym tomorrow and do a massive session for like 2 hours...maybe that will help!

Oh and on the 2000+ calorie day I went out for dinner and was naughty so went to the gym for 2 hours after and burnt off the 978 calories I'd eaten at dinner to balance me out!

Thanks! I cant see where else to add the food without it being a load of chocolate ha! Which would be great but not particularly healthy. My BMR is 1, 327 so I am making sure I eat this amount, and then will try and eat some of my exercise calories too and see what happens! I really need to tone up so will see what works!

Lightly active - I'm a secondary school teacher so on my feet all day! Will aim to eat exercise calories so total I consume a day will be around 1500 - does that sound about right?
