And your doctor says what? Friends are friends. For health matters, listen to your physician first.

Is your fiance keeping you in the house too? No harm in keeping a little junk in the trunk after all, huh? :). Give them a break. This is a good learning experience for the relationship. You cannot be exact copies of each other. In fitness and health, and good times and bad, you don't expect to be in perfect…

keep the course. Nothing wrong with you. People will talk.

Great story. Great accomplishment. Noticed you had your sneakers on in the "after" picture.

From my experience: the bottom line is that without a starting date and a written offer, it is not a job offer. I have seen too many times contracts broken, words are broken as they come out the mouth. Even with the best intentions, contracts, and written offers in place, if the circumstances arise, the hiring manager…

not OK if you are running for elected office.

schedule non-food related activities, at least think about them even at a bar or restaurant outing. Eat regularly, don't skip meals, small portions and snacks, before or after exercise. exercise is good. but don't make it your ticket to overcompensate. Stay cool.

I do it with steel cut oats. They come out alright overnight. I keep it around for the following few more days. Rolled oats gets way too soggy after a day or two in the fridge. Steel cut oat also sounds more masculine! Chia seeds make it more pudding like. If you have questions about eating raw oats (steel-cut or rolled),…

You can use store-bought kefir as a starter to make more kefir. Pretty easy. Just add to room-warm milk. Leave outside covered 12 hours to 72 hours depending on what you like and the weather. The colder the weather the longer it takes. And the longer the wait is the more sour the taste. Then refrigerate. It won't go bad…

great suggestions. it should be fun to get some kids into the dough kneading here.

you can set a weightloss per week target in the customized goals. That figures out a calorie target for you.

you have the will power to turn down the call. Try it. And tell your daughter how and why you chose not to over-indulge yourself to these delicious cookies and how deeply you appreciate and cherish your own mom's baking them your your family.

sorry to hear that you had to experience this at the age of 20. One thing I learned myself (at this late age), trust your feelings. You think it is not good. then it is not good. If you don't feel happy, you are not happy. If you feel hurt. you are hurt. You are young. there are many good things to learn and experience.

You got the easiest days to remember. Cinco de mayo? And July 4th is the US Independence Day. Congratulations on both dates. Have a great wedding and marriage.

How does $3 to $5 per race sound to you? http://www.dserunners.com/ They have races almost every week around San Francisco. Come on down to SF Marina Green on the mother's day. Sun May 12 Mother’s Day Marina Green 5K S/F at Yacht Rd. parking lot 1 block north of Marina Blvd. (Little Marina Green) KIDS RUN 9:45AM Very…

This thread rocks! I love chickpeas, and like roasted chickpeas. MIddle eastern markets have some variety of roasted chick peas, Trader Joes have this wasabi peas. I however never thought of oven roasting them starting from dry or canned peas. Very tempted by the ideas here. If you are lucky enough to run into green…

some (most?) people can barely be happy for themselves. Don't wait up on support.

If you like older men, you are in for a treat. we are gonna get older and older :)

sprinkle it over any salad. it goes well with onions, greens, celery, lemon, vinegar, ... my favorite. JUst don't leave cooked lentils in the fridge for a month. They do eventually go bad, and what an foul odor!

fall in love!

you can make your own with vinegar and no salt.

Try making them feel comfortable with what you are trying to achieve. If food has been a large part of your life and relationships, now you have got to fill in the connection to people around you in other ways. Explain why you are doing this. And how much you can use their support. You want to find and enjoy many things…

People are made to talk, talk, talk, and bother each other. Any of them have offered help and support? Hold on to them. Trash the other comments. Comments, not people. Hold on to people. Or move to an desolate island.

no loss in 6 months. eating habits and appetite have changed so much though.

Hmm. Talking and facing the music is the best. No one is perfect. On the other side of the relationship, your boyfriend might be feeling some chill, and might be over-compensating, being perfect and all. Maybe consciously maybe subconsciously. Pity does not fold into a long term goodness. Neither being perfect! It is not…

Congratulations!!! Any MFP buddies in London cheered you on?

I would be very careful and actually worried of that guy being near my kids. You already don't like that dude. I don't care for his advice, but peeking into his mind though his comments, I don't like what is in there. Bad vibes all over, follow your good parental instinct.

you got my secret there! dash of cumin, cilantro, ...

there are worse things than being single :) being in a bad relationship really sucks.
