I'm in!

I've always been on the opposite side of things. For the past ten years my husband has been on/off low carb eating. He would get so upset if there were things in the house he didn't want to eat. I try hiding them but he still finds them and eats the entire package (usually in the middle of the night) then blames me for his…

I just re-read about you having low blood pressure. I do too. I find that eating a little something throughout the day helps. If I'm really dizzy then I go for a little orange juice or crackers. Doesn't take much. Just a few sips or one or two crackers.

Personally I think I'd speak with a doctor. Have you told them you are losing hair? I haven't had an issue with it but several friends had thyroid problems and lost hair and gained weight. Just a possibility. Also before you get too down maybe focus on the positives. Do you feel stronger? Faster? Then you are doing…

I hope you start going in the daytime. When I see someone of any size or age outside being active it always inspires me. Maybe you'll inspire other people. I've sometimes stopped and said a few encouraging words because a lot of people can be jerks but those people are jerks to everyone and they are the ones with the…

My husband eats low carb. He generally just does huge meat/veggie portions. If you feel the need for that missing third item maybe some almonds on the side would help or a different veggie so you still "see" that second side.

I just remembered two more things that help me. When I have a craving I first drink water to see if the craving goes away. If it doesn't and I'm home then I brush my teeth. Sweets don't sound good after that.

Good advice. From someone trying to cut added sugars, Thank you! (And now I'm craving donuts. Sigh).

Good luck! I crave the same treats as you. I've been trying to curb the cravings for just over three weeks. The first two were easy (I think because I was so motivated). The third week was very hard but I stayed strong. I'm starting to feel like it's easier again. I can easily resist most things but now instead of craving…

I suggest asking questions with whoever you meet. I went to a trainer years ago. I wanted her because I had some injuries from a car accident and wanted a workout I could do safely. She could care less. She had a set workout that she does for everyone and refused to sway from it at all. I could have really hurt myself if I…

These I can do. :) I'm in!

Unfortunately my shoulder isn't allowing this one.

These look really hard but I'm in!

I'm in. Thank you for doing these. I love the daily mini challenges.

I only managed to do 50 that day but I made up for it the following day. Sorry I couldn't post sooner. My internet hasn't been working properly.

I'm only speaking for myself because I believe everyone responds differently. I hold my weight in my belly. Years ago I worked out obsessively. Hard core working out every spare second I had. I was thin and toned everywhere except my flabby belly. Fast forward to years later. In my attempts to lower my cholesterol (little…

I eat when I'm stressed and bored too. I've tried to replace eating with cleaning. It's hard but I'm getting there and my house gets cleaner so it's a double win. Sometimes the stress is so bad I can't resist so I just try for healthier choices. Good luck!

Ok. I'll go for the squats throughout the day. Thanks for the pep talk!

Done. Thank you for the challenge!

I'm in but not for the super challenge. :)

Ugh. Yes. If I'm home then I brush my teeth. Kills the sweet craving fast.

Water and coffee for me. Growing up was milk. I don't remember drinking anything else really. Rarely drank water. I've always hated water. My kids get orange juice or lemonade in the morning (probably 3-4 oz). The rest of the day they have water. If we are on a road trip or at a party they will have sprite, root beer or…

I forgot. Another trick I do is to set my timer for 5 minutes and say I'll do something just for that time. Anyone can do 5 minutes. 5 usually leads to more and if it doesn't at least I accomplished SOMETHING.

I know exactly how you feel. It's easy for me to fall into that slump. I decided recently that I'd consider my time at home as a "job". My job when I'm home is to clean, run errands, walk the dog, catch up on all the stuff I like to avoid doing, etc. When I find myself wanting to snack when I'm not hungry (which is all the…

I had a friend that would do this. She would want the treat (let's say cookies). She'd take one bite and keep pushing the package onto me. I think she was ok if I lost weight as long as I was bigger than her. Once I realized what she was doing I noticed she did it ALL the time. Constantly trying to get me to eat more than…

Years ago I worked out like mad and had muscle everywhere BUT still had a big tummy. Fast forward to the past year. I started to eat very healthy. My weight went even lower than before BUT still had a big tummy. I now exercise AND eat healthy. I didn't see any tummy loss until I gave up almost all processed foods and oil.…

Stuff happens. Just look at today and today only. Don't think about the past or tomorrow. Just tell yourself that today you will do good. You can do it!
