I plan the majority of my meals for the week on Saturday or Sunday of each week. Most of the time I log it before I eat but the same day. If I know I'm going to be extremely busy, I will prelog my main meals the day before.

Yes! Everything you said and this!

Laziness, fear of commitment, misinformation, and lack of motivation.

Sounds like how I felt after cutting out soda last year. Not quite sure if it was the drop in caffeine or sugar or maybe even a combination of both! It definitely gets easier and then if you try eating/drinking something you cut out it will taste so sugary!

Forgot to post last night. Day 8- 2.63 miles

I do mine daily because I use Trendweight to figure out my weight trend, since it bounces around so much during the week. I weigh in the morning, in the same amount of clothing, and with the same scale in the same spot.

I don't have experience with ED's but I do have experience with obsessive behavior. My inexperience is what made me think twice about responding. Congratulations on starting to get a handle on things! I think you should maybe look at it from a point of health and nutrition, instead of focusing on weight loss vs. weight…

I lost the first 37 lbs before I started actively logging my food. I did that by changing the foods I ate, cutting down my portion sizes, and cutting out soda as a daily beverage of choice. I started drinking more water, eating more fruits and veggies, and limiting fast food. I also cut out a lot of prepackaged, processed…

I can now walk 3 miles (jogging) portions of it, without getting winded or tired. I can now do some strength training using resistance bands, and I even moved up from using the yellow bands (least resistance). I not only fit into the jeans that I pulled out of storage a month ago, but they are actually getting loose!

Day 3: 2.62 - Again, not as good as I hoped. I should be picking up the pace soon.

I definitely pack them up when they get "to big" and donate them. It's helped in the past when I dropped a size and was motivation to not go up again because I did not want to buy bigger. I also kept all my clothes from when I was thinner, so a I pack away the "to big" stuff, I am unpacking the smaller stuff. Unfortunately…

Do you have any other symptoms besides the weight gain? How are your stress levels? How long have you been taking the Paxil? I think you need to wait for the thyroid tests to come back first, then go from there. Your post is a little confusing because you say you eat under 2000 calories always, but usually 1200-1500…

Recovered Mt. Dew addict here. I had years of drinking the stuff under my belt and started really drinking it for the same reason as you, it was a quick and easy burst of energy after having my son 16 years ago (gah! how did that happen?) The funny thing is that now I can't really drink it, even if I try, because it makes…

I workout at home. Lack of funds and being self-conscious are my main reasons. I don't really have much equipment and have only really been exercising for a month now. I have resistance bands and stability balls, which are fine for me starting out.

Welcome! 70 lbs sounds like a lot now, but I just know that one day you will be thinking about how it wasn't as hard as you thought! Think about it in smaller increments, if that helps, and all the energy you will have without the additional weight. And congrats on the grandbaby! When is he/she expected to arrive?

Happy belated birthday! I'm sorry you were so sad on your day! A few years ago, everyone but my husband forgot my birthday. It hit me really hard because my family has always been so big on birthdays. Since, they haven't forgotten but I only get texts and FB messages wishing me a "happy bday". Sadly, I think this is just…
