  • I haven't had energy drinks in many years. I think 2011 was the last time I had one. I had to Google Bai Bubbles. Never had it before but I noticed Costco sells them and I frequent that place quite a bit. I'll have to check it out.
  • This is very true.
  • I'm only into my 2nd hour of my 8hr shift o(╥﹏╥)o But I can't complain too much. I work tomorrow then I have 5 days off!!!
  • I've been working nightshift 5x a week for nearly 5 years now. I've been working on my weight for 3 of those years and I have lost a little over 200 lbs, gained some back and plateau the past few months. I slowly have been chipping away at it again. A typical "day" for me is Wake up at 10:30pm Work from 11pm-7am 1st meal…

  • Hi JJ! Congrats on everything!
  • I told my boss I needed a raise to stay at work because there are three different companies showing interest in me. He asked me which companies and I told him, "The gas, electric, and cable ones"
  • Hey I recognize the name 2% ketoconazole! I have very mild eczema that primarily affects me on my face, mainly my cheeks. I use a combination of the cream and ketoconazole shampoo as a face wash to keep it in check. I also 2nd what @jennifer_417 mentioned. Haven't tried it myself but I have heard it's good too.

  • This helped me greatly. I have not been dating for a very long time. Shy, mild introvert and fat. Going to the gym and forcing myself out there helped increase my confidence. It took a while and I recently met someone via a mutual friend. The best part is she too is active and we go out on runs and do races together now.…
  • Well, cosplay is one thing for me. I want to get to a point where I am comfortable enough to do so. Also, since I do work out quite a bit, I discovered a while back that Under Armour makes a line of workout clothes which is now one of many reasons I am broke. XD https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/alter-ego It used to be…
  • Guy here. Barefoot I am just a smidge under 6'3 and I have been fluctuating between 305 to 315 lbs the past few months. Years ago I was about 20 lbs shy of hitting 500 lbs. My goal overall is to get around 200-220 with a body fat % of 20 or less. I lift 2-3× a week and cardio 3x a week. My progress on the scale has stalled…
  • People assume because of my physical size I was a jock and must have played all kinds of sports. I am tall, large frame sized, have quite a bit of muscle, etc. Never played any sports. In fact, I was and still am a big geek/nerd. When people comment on my size saying I must have been awesome at sports, I tell them I played…
  • Mafia II. I got it via Xbox live free game of the month that they offer to gold subscribers.
  • Awesome! Thanks for sharing! There's a couple of older threads in here from other cosplayers. I have not done any cosplaying yet but it is one of my goals as I get more in shape.

  • Any hills or stairs you can add in your walking routes? I always find those help me get the heart rate up. As for running I would start out slow. Work up to it. C25K is a great program to follow.
  • c779047 What's the item? Can you link it or give the name?

  • That was a major part for me gaining so much weight in the past. Hours and hours of game play, sitting on my fat butt, with nothing but fast food and soda pop along with eating chips, snacks, and other unmentionables. Now I don't game as much as I used to but I found veggies helped. You can get full fast with them. I do…
  • Sorry to hear your doctor isn't very good. I was in a similar situation as yours, just add 10 more years in age and 35 lbs. My doctor is great. He was on top of things. Recommended low carb, exercise, etc etc. and would check up on me every 3 months. I improved over time and as I lost weight, my A1C improved and my meds…

  • I work weekends too with my days off being Monday & Tuesday. I find it easier to do accomplish errands, like grocery shopping during the week, especially during the day. One of my more frequent shopping destinations being Costco. A huge headache going on a weekend, not so bad during the week.
  • Just started my shift. 7½ hours to go. I have a company BBQ to go to later today and 99% of the people going to it are day walkers i.e. people I don't know, know. If it wasn't for a couple of people who I know will be there, I would skip altogether.
