You should try to drink half your body weight in oz of water each day. For example, I weigh 164 so 82 is half of that. I need to drink 82 oz of water a day which equals about 10 cups of water a day. That will help a lot if you can do it.

Try drinking water with all of your meals instead of drinks like frappachinos and stuff like that. It is way better for you, 0 calories and acts as a natural appetite suppressor. Sometimes we think we're hungry when we are really just thirsty.

I've fallen off too but I'm getting back on NOW! The things that motivated me to get back into my routine are 1. My faith 2. My husband 3. The sermon in church today 4. Standing in front of the mirror naked and jumping up and down..that shows all your flaws. It's silly but works for me.

You need to change up your routine. When you do the same workouts and work the same muscles over and over again, they get used to it. You have to constantly change your routine. I don't have a child or a good answer except to keep changing your ab routine from day to day. It will challenge your muscles. I quoted this guy because it just made me smile and laugh to myself because it is a guy answering this question and he knows what he's talking about. I agree with him :)

Thanks so much. This is my husbands 4 tour and 3rd combat deployment. I try not to worry but it is very hard because he was wounded on his first deployment and has a very dangerous job. After this one, he is done for a while though so I'm very thankful for that. Thanks for you input as well. I'll keep that in mind.

This is so true. There is so much extra crap added to food these days that half the time there is more of "other stuff" than the actual main ingredient itself. Definitely try to bring fruits/veggies to snack on. You can eat way more of them and it will fill you up better than a snickers bar. I love love love TaeBo with Billy Blanks. The videos are a little more expensive but usually come with bands or some exercise tool to use with it. You get results fast and he's so inspirational. Any age group can do it!!
