Thank You now I can make Red pepper hummus home made and avoid processed food. :flowerforyou: Cabbage is another very low carb and calorie vegetable. I love both of them.

Not to scare the OP but I have a best Friend who just had surgery for this symptom and it really was falling. I think it is called a prolapsed uterus but not sure. She is in her 70's and complained for years. You are young but I would still go to the Dr. and have yourself checked and tell the Dr. your symptoms. It is…

Hi I usually just lurk in the background reading but today I had to pop my head out and say Thanks for the muffin in a minute recipes. I have not eaten flax before so this will be a new experience. I have been low to mod carb since March 2012 and thank Atkins for helping me with induction to kick the sugar addiction to the…

In answer to the Poster I also have a hard time just drinking plain water unless it is iced. I do drink ice herbal tea but my favorite is sugar free Koolaid and I add Stevia to sweeten it. I know there is a debate whether to count water as just plain water or other beverages as water. .I count my Koolaid and tea as water.…

Thanks for the Great low carb soup recipes. I never thought of thickening soup with Xanthum gum but it is a great idea.

I love soup especially potato soup and never thought I could eat it at 212 calories. This is on my to cook list. Thanks

I try to eat some kind of soup or broth every day. I think I am addicted to Knorr Lower sodium chicken broth and add various veggies to it even if it is just chopped green from scallion. Soup is one of my favorite foods and so filling. Thanks to everyone that posted their soup recipes I hope this thread will continue.

I want to add quickly this is my experience with PCOS with hormone imbalance there are Women who do not suffer like I have suffered with it. I believe in faith my MFP Friends will not suffer the way I have with it. I pray my MFP Friends who are trying to get Pregnant will have a easy pregnancy. I know some Women do not…

To the OP I understand and agree with you, it does not seem fair, but life never promised it would be fair. With the PCOS I do not have the extra hair issue, in fact I can go 3 months and not have to shave my legs, and never had the facial hair. I have the thinning hair. I have very long 22 inches hair maybe longer, but it…

I also have to watch my blood pressure and so I switched to a healthy salt, Pink Himalayan that is loaded with good minerals. Himalayan Salt never raises my Blood pressure and I have severe water retention problems but never when I eat this Salt. Try it you may like it. Check out search engine on the health benefits. I…

To the poster above, if my other half Hubby told me I was unattractive he would not be my other half for long! How cruel I am so sorry you were hurt in this way.

This is to the Poster who posted the above. I just want you to know you have an amazing personality and you are so much more than a number on a scale. The straw that broke the camels back for me was on my birthday I knew chances were good with all my health issues if I did not lose weight I would not live to see another…

I identify with your words but I am working to change the words to show myself more mercy and love. We are more than a number on the scale, our weight and health should not define who we are.

I am having smoked fish for lunch because there are no carbs in it. I eat celery with real cream cheese not the low fat to go along with it on celery on it.

I am also 5'5 and I also have PCOS, Hypothyroid, plus severe Fibromyalgia where the flareups do not cease, and Chronic Fatigue plus hypoglcemia and other health issues I will not bore you with. I am going on 200 days on MFP and only have 23 lbs to show for it. I have however lost many inches so although the scale moves…

To the Poster who asks the question above. I am not diabetic Thank God, but I have the reverse low blood sugar aka hypoglycemia. I have the identical symptoms as you described. In fact hypoglycemia is dangerous if I do not eat something every 3 hours my blood sugar crashes. When I eat fruit I balance it with protein…

This sounds like the exact symptoms I get for hypoglycemia aka low blood sugar. I can only go 3 hours before I have to eat to raise my blood sugar. Fruit must be balanced with protein or the sugar spikes and crashes. When the nausea hits it is very intense so ginger tea made with sliced ginger and lipton tea settles my…

This makes sense I had my gall bladder removed at age 21 and even though I was not overweight I was constantly crash dieting. When I look back at that time I would love to look like that again. I could never figure out why I had gall stones and now you have just answered the question with the above post.

I have cauliflower and did not know how to use it before it goes bad, so thanks for the recipe!
