^This. Your spouse can be tactful and motivate you with kind words, but humiliate you? That's just cruel.

Absolutely, plus I'm a couponer,....so yeah, it's all about lists and organization :)

Accept that it happen, you made some so-so choices and MOVE ON. You have to turn that page. Make better choices at the next meal, and so on. No one is 100% perfect on this journey.

The mental part of losing weight has been the most challenging for me. It's all about wrapping your head around your new image and trying to fight the body dysmorphia.
-
WOW! what a story....you are an inspiration! :)

Not a lapbander..but a had rny 2.5 years ago, its also just a tool and I log daily :)

Set small, achievable short term goals. It's easy to get overwhelmed when you look at a huge mountain to climb. Take it one day at a time--even meal to meal if you have to! Just don't stop fighting. Best of luck.

It's not going into my mouth, not my concern. Do what works for you, whatever that may be!

This has to be a lifestyle change..not a diet! Up your protein, choose better options when snacking (protein). stay away from processed foods and refined carbs. Hang in there!

If I have a bad week, I regroup and stay OFF of the scale for a week, maybe two! Continue working hard, and do not let those numbers define you. You will have some weeks better than others but please don't let that 1lb loss knock you off of your game! Keep moving forward. Best of luck!

I'm getting married in September...let's be friends! :)

Get up as much as you can, just to walk around a bit and drink water to stay hydrated. Eat regular planned snacks so that you aren't tempted to graze :)
-
No "cheat day"----maybe a treat meal or something like that. If you look at it as cheating, it makes it seem wrong. Everything in moderation is ok, but a day of cheating and bad choices sets you up for the backslide.
-
Take it one day at a time and log everything you are eating. Do not keep tempting foods or snacks at home, and just stay on point when you're at work. Temptation is always going to be everywhere, you have to keep focused to control it. best of luck!

I was a hairdresser for 10 years, finished up my undergrad finally and now I work in medical research. Very low turn over as we're a small office, very cohesive and efficient. For the most part we all like one another, so that helps, too :)

I let myself go and stopped caring. Food became comfort and before I knew it I was 374lbs and miserable and had to make a change! My story is as simple as that.
-
I do the 80-20 rule: I eat clean 80% of the time, 20% I have some treats. It's what has worked for me and you do not have to give up anything. All things in moderation! :)

AMAZING!!!! :) Keep inspiring!

I used to do 120oz everyday, but now I do 64oz at minimum.

Calories in, calories out.

Fun music, a good tv show, a good distraction...find something to get your attention and that time will fly and you'll get a workout! :)
