Awesome job! Keep it up!

Not many people noticed until I was down 30 lbs.. It doesn't seem like the people closest to me are the ones who noticed though.

Group B, 6.9 miles on Tuesday. I was stuck in an annual all day planning meeting today so I'll be back at it tomorrow.

8 minis from a variety bag. Still under calorie goal though, just a tiny bit over on sugar though. I've been generous handing out the candy tonight and everything that's left goes into the candy jar at the office tomorrow.

I overheard my daughters talking about getting measured at Nordstrom's for free and then having the sales person bring out several bras that they recommended. There's no obligation to buy though my daughter did buy 1 and then found a couple of the others online for significantly less. (my daughters are both married with…

I have a shake with almond milk(you could use non fat milk or soy milk) whey protein, fish oil, glutamine, l-carnitine, plain non fat Greek yogurt and different combinations of frozen berries or fruit. I'm usually not hungry until dinner, but if I do, I take a protein bar with me in case I need a snack.

As I was stretching before my run this morning, I realized that when I started I could just touch my chins partly because of my lack of flexibility and partly because my stomach was in the way. Today I easily put my palms on the ground and my head to my knees! Not too bad for a 51 year old grandpa.

C25K is a 9 week program that kept me on track earlier this year.

I love those athletic bubble butts! Way to go!

I've tried to quit blaming other people or using them as excuses for my weaknesses. I feel in control of myself and more confident when I do this.

I'm 51 and working my way backwards. I own an insurance agency.

Congrats, nothing like having clothes getting too loose!

I usually have a mental plan for the day but don't log it until after. Sometimes my plans have to be altered so I wait until it's actually been done first. I alter my eating or exercise according to what got changed.
-
Great job! I can see the change everywhere!

I add a table spoon of fish oil to my protein smoothie that adds some healthy fat to my diet. My wife adds flax seed oil because she's a vegetarian. Both are healthy fats and good for your heart. They can be added to other things or just taken alone too.

It's a cheat day for me, however, I try to be better about portion control than I was in the past!

I've hit a few plateaus that lasted about 3 weeks. I always tried to change my exercise up to help break through it. Alot of people try the calorie zig zagging (varying your calorie intake so your body doesn't get used to a specific # of calories) but that never seemed to work for me. Keep eating healthy and exercising and…

When I've hit plateaus, I try to remind myself that eating healthy an exercise are good for me and make me feel better both physically and emotionally regardlessly of what the scale says. I also try to forgive myself when I have bad days or weeks and get back to healthy habits. Just keep trying and don't be too hard on…

Great job! It always feels great to be in control of our selves.

Great start! Keep up the good work!

Congrats! Awesome job.

I finished C25K a couple of months ago and it was a great way for me to build up to running for 30 minutes straight! I try to run 2 or 3 times a week now and do something else a couple of times a week too. Be consistent and you'll do great!

Probably a good question for a Doctor. I used to have some congestion most of the time, but it quickly disappeared as I began eating healthy and exercising. It probably isn't anything serious, but be safe and have it checked out.

There are some nicer clothes that I tell myself I'll get when I get to my goal weight but, they're not really my "reward", they're just clothes that I need. I've thought about what I'd do to celebrate but, when I think about it, I've already been rewarded. I'm able to surf with my son. I can swim and play with my…

I was at 263 and waited until I got down to 195 to change from walking to running. I'm 5'11" male and 51. I finished C25K last week and usually the 1 day off was enough to have my joints recover. I did go to a running store and bought a good pair of running shoes too! They have been well worth it.

Usually the people who see us most often notice less because they see us everyday and the change from day to day is pretty small. Just the other day, my son in law who I see a few times a week said he was looking at some pictures from last summer and hadn't realized how much I had lost until seeing the older pics.

I'd save some calories, do a little extra cardio to earn a few more and maybe a little extra cardio the next day. Or if you haven't had too many "days off" just don't worry about it.
