I second the stairmaster, and spinning gets my heart going too.

I'd pound you down so low you'd have to roll down your socks to use the bathroom!

Oatmeal, a mixing bowl full with blueberries.

Wow! Awesome job.

Success breeds success. Set goals that are fairly easy to reach and then build on them. Do this for fitness goals as well as in other areas of your life. Make the goals yourself and take ownership of them. Being on here proves you have the desire and that's the first step. Use the advice you get here that makes sense for…

I usually make a smoothie with almond milk, nonfat Greek yogurt, protein powder and mix it up with different blends of frozen fruit. I also add some supplements like liquid vitamins, flax oil, and liquid carnitine.

I got the Polar RS100 for Christmas and it has done everything that I needed.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! This is true about diet and fitness as well as most things in life.

Chicken (no skin,) fish, egg whites, natural peanut butter

I think it's pretty much true except for I would make some exceptions for family.

I did that earlier this year. Surfing with my son and doing C25K were a couple I've done. Now I'm going to work on getting faster on the 5k. If I don't have a goal, I start slipping too much.

My Dr told me the same thing. Mine is due more do genetics than weight and diet but it does help keep the dosage lower.

Kashi cinnamon harvest Or if I'm cheating Frosted Flakes, because they're GREAT!

I totally agree too. Other goals I've used to help me have included: surfing with my son, running a 5 k with my kids and hiking a difficult peak.
-
Did C25K this spring and have run consistently since!
-
To run a 5k with my kids & beat them all!

Welcome to mfp! Be consistent and totally honest with yourself with logging everything. If you have a bad day or week, just get back to it and leave it in the past.
-
I'm in again this week and I'll up it to group C! Today 11 miles (3 running on treadmill 8 stationary bike)
-
I second the kitchen aid. I've had mine a little over a year and there's no sign it's slowing down or wearing out. I make a smoothy with frozen fruit almond milk and protein almost every morning with it.
-
Friday 7.2 miles (treadmill/elliptical) Saturday 8.25 (3.5 run/4.75 walk Goal passed! Thanks for the extra motivation this week!
-
It's one of the only things I watch besides sports.
-
Take a look at C25K. You don't have the 9 weeks but see if you think you think you're in good enough shape to start in the middle.
-
That's awesome! Keep it up.
