You lost 101lbs and 10 years! Great job!!!!

Welcome!!! You can totally do this!!!! Just work on making it a habit, and forgive yourself for any mis-steps. Progress, not perfection.

Welcome! You've got this. Just remember that you're striving for progress, not perfection, and that mis-steps don't mean failure.

Work on identifying alternative coping mechanisms. I know it's hard. I'm there, too. Going for a walk, stepping outside, doing something you love to do all helps. If I still want food, I drink a large glass of water and set a timer. If I'm still craving something after that point, I'll have something. It's a lot of mind…

Adding more calories is still stressing me out. I walked my dogs yesterday for a long walk (about 4 miles). The first 3.7 was great.…

We’ve all been there. Take each day as it comes and strive for progress, not perfection. That perfection mindset will derail you every time.

Welcome back! Sweets are my weakness as well, and I LOVE to bake. I've been doing half amounts as well. My family is not loving it, lol

Welcome! I'm in Southern QC! I did Keto for a while (mostly because carbs set me off on a binge), and found that keeping it simple worked for me. I did meat (with fat) and a vegetable for most meals. I didn't get into the baking substitutions, etc. It was easier for me. Good luck, and feel free to add me!

Today I'm 40.7lbs down. My next mini-goal is to hit 50lbs down.

@Making_Impossible_Possible you are getting SO CLOSE to ONEderland! That has to be a sweet feeling! Enjoy the birthday dinner!!!

I feel this. I left bedside nursing in September to take a full time teaching position, but got sucked back in to per diem when the facility where I worked had a COVID outbreak. For quite a while, it was 16 hour shifts between the two jobs 3-5 times per week, and 12 hours one weekend day. I ate junk, and wasn't exercising…

I walked 2 miles at lunch.

I hope you have a good recovery. Be kind to yourself, and don't worry if you're not totally happy with the results at first. Things take time to heal and the inflammation will take a while.
-
Welcome. Remember to demand progress, not perfection from yourself. I have a bad habit of demanding perfection, and when I perceive that I have failed, giving up. I'm hoping this time is different.
-
@goal06082021 , I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm hoping for a manageable treatment plan for him and for you.

Right around 100lbs to lose total. I'm down 38-ish now. 40 y/o mom of two: nurse, teacher, exhausted all the time.

@JNettie73 I've found second hand stores are FABULOUS to pad the wardrobe while you're on the way down in order to save the budget. I buy a few new pieces, and add in some thrifted finds (shirts are easier to find second hand for me. I'm 6').

My NP said the same thing. He advised that I'd lost the weight before, and to just be prepared to do it again. He also said that the was going to try to join me. We'll see where we both landed when I go back in December. I'm down 38.

You both look fabulous, but that dress is FIRE!!!! I wish there was a restaurant near us with that type of special.

I did a TeamBodyProject workout, and then 20 minutes on the elliptical.

I have the opposite problem. I'm 6' and often end up in men's coats because not everyone makes tall sizes, and the sleeves and torso are too short. I don't know who they make clothes for, but it isn't anybody I know, lol. I was able to do my workout without stopping or modifying anything today. That's progress.

Welcome. I bet a lot of us are here to lose (or re-lose, as is my case) the weight you gained over the pandemic. Jump on in.

You can build recipes with the ingredients you use. All you can do is get as close as you can.
