I started out with a goal to lose 100lbs. I’ve lost just shy of 90 now. It’s not always been pretty, and I’ve struggled with consistency lately. Feel free to add me.

Great job!

Another vote for now. You can always do it on a treadmill if you need to, but I find the cooler weather better to run in.

Hockey season has started for my daughter. The arena where they play shares a parking lot with a beautiful park with a 1 mile (mostly) paved walking loop. I decided to walk/jog (I still walk when people can see me...don't judge me) the loop during practice. One loop around, I met a hockey Dad with whom we've had kids on…

You look amazing! Great job.

Same! I don't wear leathers, but my first riding jacket was men's because I couldn't find a women's jacket that was big enough/long enough for me. I'm 6' with short hair, I looked like a man riding the bike. This year, I bought a women's jacket. I have a shape! My hubby and I went to the store earlier in the season to pick…

I like to make egg muffins on the weekend with whatever toppings I have on hand (spinach, onions, mushrooms, ham, bacon, cheese, etc) to heat up during the week. This morning I had a light multi-grain english muffin with an egg, 2 slices of uncured deli ham (Aldi) and a slice of cheese. It fills me up and doesn't blow the…

Happy October! September was a bit up and down for me. SW: 281.0 CW: 193.4 GW: 178? I'm not really sure. I'm 6'. October goal: 189. I'm getting damn close to 100lbs gone. I know that it'll be slow at this point, and I'm okay with that. My goal for this month is to log more consistently (even if I go over).

I added a it of rice vinegar and a tiny bit of cream cheese to help it stick. It's not exactly the same, but it worked for me. I filled with cucumber, salmon, avocado, some crab meat (and any combination of those) and wrapped in nori. After I cooked the cauliflower, I put it in a tea towel and squeezed the crap out of it…

Most of weight loss is food, not exercise. You can do this, just get back into it.

I'm REALLY close to 90lbs down. That's my next goal. My hubby and I are going to Vegas at the end of November, I'd like to be REALLY close to goal by then.

Great job!

Montreal Canadiens! GO HABS GO!

Currently at 193.5. It's progress. I've been logging much more consistently, but not perfectly, and am still struggling on weekends.

I want to eat more food. There. I said it.

When I had mine, there was discussion about it. Especially if you have sleep apnea, anesthesia can be difficult and risky. The risk of infections, pneumonia, and blood clots go up with higher weight. I had mine at over 260lbs (at age 35) three years ago. My doctor says I'm the "poster child for hip replacements," but is…

*raises hand* 86lbs down

I'm from NY, but the "so far North I moved to Canada" part, not the city. Welcome to MFP!

I've not been so consistent about logging EVERYTHING I'm eating, and as a result, my loss has slowed. I'm jumping back in. SW: 281.0 CW: 196.6 September goal weight: 193 Ultimate goal weight: 175 (?) My goals for this month are to track CONSISTENTLY. It works. I just need to do it.

I went to cross the border into Canada yesterday, handed over my ID, and the officer said "you need a new picture. This doesn't even LOOK like you!" I loved it.

I have a couple. 1. I teach as an adjunct at a local college. I went back for the first day of classes yesterday and was told by MULTIPLE colleagues how fabulous I look. I was well on this journey when we left in May (I was down about 35-40lbs in May), but it is apparently really noticeable now. 2. I unsubscribed to all…

I've been buying them from Aldi. They're actually REALLY delicious.

Great job!

Welcome! I started at almost the same weight as you! We can do this!

I hit ONEderland! SW: 281.2 CW: 198.6 GW-175-180? I'm pretty certain that it won't hold. I've had a cold and as such NOTHING tastes good and I'm having trouble coordinating eating and breathing. I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts and NOT let it ruin my day/week if it doesn't last.
-
I'm within a pound of ONEderland. ALMOST THERE.

As someone who has had hip issues almost my whole life (I've had two surgeries on one hip and one on the other), taking weight off has DEFINITELY helped relieve some of that, too.

Great job! You look fantastic!
