I just increased my calories (changed my settings from losing 1.5 lbs per week to 1 lb per week) so I am glad to hear that others are having some success eating more. I felt like I was ALWAYS hungry with only 1200 calories a day.

My husband's tummy is really toned and he's got some muscle definition there, but it's not my favorite part of his body. Don't get me wrong, I like it...but i'd still love him without it.

I was having this problem too. I've started putting more weight on my heels instead of my toes and it seems to help some.

I did Curves years ago and ended up getting bored with the routine of it. Why not ask for a one week trial? I know the one that I went to used to do that.

I'm so sorry that your mother and grandmother are not supportive. No one deserves to be talked down to in that way. Keep going on your efforts though. Know that a lot of us on here are pulling for you and wishing you success.

I'd like to know too!! I can't sit on my bike for more than about 20 minutes without being miserable. I guess it will just take some getting used to.

That sounds about right to me. When I use my elliptical I burn between 6-10 calories a minute (depending on how much effort I put forth) and i'm 5'6" and 149 lbs. Same goes for the squats, jumping jacks, etc...depends on how much effort you put into it. If you kept your heart rate up the whole time, it could be right.

It's not too late. I still have over 1,000 left to go for the day thanks to my exercise. I plan on eating some back tonight, and i'll just go over tomorrow to make up the rest.

Even at my heaviest (181 lbs), my husband NEVER ONCE called me fat. I feel sorry for you that your husband is not supportive of your efforts. I stop when my heart rate goes back to normal. Don't know if that is the "right" way to do it, but that's what i've always done.
