I can. Can open water bottles with my toes too...yeah, I don't have too much time on my hands, nope.....

:noway:

I want a butt too! I've never had a "J-Lo" junk-in-my-trunk butt. Both my mom and I are FLAT. Sigh - all of the junk went to my chest instead, So my question is: is it possible for someone who has always been fairly active, and never had a "wow" butt to get one (without surgery!)?
-
  One of DH's nicknames for me is "clawfoot"! My 2nd DD is the same way - double jointed toes unite!!
-
I can't have anything around my neck - hate turtlenecks and chokers. I have one eye that is half blue and half brown. I can bend my thumb down to my wrist, and I can pick up anything with my toes.

:brokenheart: It sucks sometimes, but I have to say you have such a calm and realistic attitude toward how everything is unfolding - I applaud you for that (I'd be a basket case, lol). Hugs.

I'm so thrilled for you! BTW - are things better between you and your wife now?
-
Glad to be of assistance! And if you try the basil/orange combo - be sure to report back on how it tasted!
-
I read about an orange/basil mojito - I'm going to give it a try one time. Yep - instead of lime/mint - you use orange juice and fresh basil. How rocking is that? Now, how well it tastes....I don't know!
-
LOL!!  I wasn't insinuating anything  Mojitos are the only "cocktail" I know how to make. I do (kind of) know my way around a wine cellar (not that we have one  ). BTW - have you ever had a mojito blended? I always ask for mine blended when we go out, and get the weirdest looks. I had a blended…

Great minds!!! BTW - I don't like mojitos made with lemon-lime soda (shudder) - tastes artificial to me. I love the fresh mint/fresh lime taste - can't beat it, and it is really so easy to make. I don't measure anything, I just make as many glasses are needed, and folks can top their drinks with more rum or agave nectar…
-
I just use raw cane sugar on the bottom of the glass, and then if folks like it sweeter, I have agave nectar (which is kind of like a simple syrup) - some people like it sweeter, and others don't - ya know? I'm not a big drinker, but I love me some mojitos!

I get your question - and it depends on how you classify "walking to work." Personally, for me I do not log exercise calories for anything BUT my scheduled work outs. So, if I spend 3 hours pulling weeds on the weekend - I don't log that, and anything I normally do throughout the day (carrying laundry up 2 flights of…

I love mojitos - they are super easy. All you need is rum, sparkling water, lime, mint and sugar. Put 3-4 mint leaves, some cane sugar, and lime juice (squeeze 1/4-1/2 of lime) in a glass - muddle it (take a spoon and kind of mush the mint leaves to release the oils and mix everything up). Fill glass with crushed ice, and…

How about fresh strawberries/blueberries/raspberries with a drizzle of cream?

Here are a couple of my philosophies... 1. Eat as clean as possible (organic, raw veggies, as little additives as possible, etc.) 2. I tell myself (and others) - I'm not on a diet - I'm a health-oriented person who loves to be active 3. Enjoy your food - savour the taste, texture - take pleasure in finding fresh…

Do you need protein before WO, or just after WO for recovery?

There's so many things that can make us heavier/lighter. I would avoid re-weighing in such a short time span. I tend to weigh twice a day - 1st thing in the AM (before shower, after bathroom), and last thing before I go to bed. So keeping things consistent over time gives me pretty good indicators of where my weight is.…

Same here! I find that most things are TOO salty or sweet - I end up making most of my food to eliminate all the extra salt, sugar and fat. I also   my dark chocolate! BTW, I was watching a documentary last night called "I Eat 33,000 Calories" and it was about 4 morbidly obese individuals - showed their…

Also Polo lover! Hugo Boss is nice as well - I just adore anything that has sandlewood under notes to it.... If you go to Macy's and ask one of the sales ladies for some guidance - they will be glad to show you around and explain the different scents and help you find one that fits you (they love doing this!) You should be…

Sigh...this is a hard topic because each child is different, and each situation will also be different. DD #1: She's a softie - always wants to make Mama happy. All I need to do is talk to her in a quiet, stern voice, and often she will cry and apologize immediately. I can't remember spanking her. Bless her heart! DD#2: My…

Make sure you have a living trust, as items in a will still need to go through probate and can be contested. And you seem like a kind, caring man with a good heart - I'm touched that you searched for your children all these years (many men would have just written the unknown children off) - your wife will come around; just…

I used the "allergic to milk" excuse one time to get out of a pizza party thing...then it came back and bit me in the butt, so I would probably not go that route again. I would have take a few bites - either said I was full, or that I'm not much of a sweets person. If I say I'm on a diet, or that I'm trying to eat healthy,…

Wow - I'm so moved by your story - and really glad you found your daughters. No matter how old we are - we always wanted to be claimed and loved by our parents. I can see why your wife might have misgivings - if I were in her shoes, I don't think I would be worried about an old flame, so much, but maybe how our life as…

WOW! That is so amazing - I hope to do that some day.... You rock Areay!! :drinker: :drinker:

What she said. And what happened? Did you get hurt? Did you get a police report? Some times if the incident takes place near an intersection with video feed, they can track the license plate number (or maybe I just watch CSI/Cold Case too much...) Anyhow, hope you find the person and tell DH to step back - not cool - the…

Mommared - you're my idol! I can't wait to be a cat lady. I have visions of a clean house (which means no kids, no DH, no dogs), no screaming/pushing/fighting (a.k.a kids), and I'll be sipping my french roast coffee with a cat (or two) in my lap, as I watch the sun rise over my blossoming herb garden. (sigh)

I feel the same way - I've never lived on my own. In college, there were always 4-6 roommates, and then I got in the family way, and DH and I were married after DD was born. So....I wish I had a chance to live alone, but I don't know if I would have been as willing to get married if I did, Since women tend to…

I love Kahlil Gibran's work in "The Prophet". His words really speak to me - in fact, I want his quote on death to be read at my funeral. It is just moving. Anyways, when DH and I were going through a very rough period, I printed this quote for him (also by Gibran) - and gave him two wine glasses along with it - read and…
