Geez, I can't really think of anything! I like pretty much everything. The only thing that comes to mind is a "delicacy" that was offered to me by a sushi chef who owed my husband a favor. We were newly married, and Yoshi wanted to offer me a dish that would ensure my fertility, and it was the full egg sac of a sea bass. I…

I have to admit that, as shallow as it might be, I look for a trainer who has the type of body that I would like. I look for a tall slender woman with moderate muscle tone. I look for someone who I think can relate to me and is most likely to have tips and ideas for my particular path. Since I don't want to get very…

As a therapist I find that often times people who cheat are just as surprised to discover they have cheated as the spouse. They often describe feeling suddenly "alive again" or "a switch turned on" and it is as though they had become numb in the marriage or relationship, and became swept away in the good feelings of the…

I tend to have a heart rate in the high range - I hit 200 in a dance class last thursday!!! I have to monitor myself to keep it under 180. I consulted a cardiologist about this and, after many many tests that determined that my heart is healthy, he said to try to keep it under 180 and to watch if I began to feel faint…

There are so many nearly-nude/sexy-cleavage shots out there, I guess I can't see why a breastfeeding pic is distasteful. If no one is bothered by a pic of a woman in a bikini, why on earth be bothered by the much more modest (usually no nipple shown) pic of mom breastfeeding. That just seems backwards. I was a…

Here's the scientific answer: There is no such thing as an emotionLESS eater. For all people, eating activates the pleasure/reward centers of the brain and neurotransmitters are released that cause us to feel a sense of general well-being. Functional MRI scans on the extremely obese (those who have become immobile due to…

I think so. Its something your body needs and can only be gotten through food. I'm not certain about what protein source would not have it. It helps you convert the protein into muscle.

I had many of your symptoms and also tested as vitamin D deficient. However, I was also deficient in magnesium and Bs, and further tests (not blood tests unfortunately) showed that I had parasites, a candida infection, and a bacterial infection, all of which were in my intestines. I'm taking supplements out the wazoo,…

This sounds like you could be hypoglycemic or have a thyroid problem. Definitely see a doctor.

When we're both angry, neither one of us want to do it. We're both usually hurt and don't feel close to each other. But, the angry times don't last long because we're great at figuring it all out and listening to one another, and the make-up sex is always fantastic.

@serena 569 - pretty hard to tell what you look like in that picture, but I have to admit I love anybody who looks like they can enjoy life that much! Plus, I covet your hair :)

What a super fantastic idea!!!! I live in Austin, and I'm positive there must be something like that around here. We usually end up with a whole deer each year (we don't hunt, different people seem to give this to us for some reason each year) but I have never thought of investing in a cow! Lovely. Thanks for sharing!!

I'm a sorta typical, kinda funny lady in her late 30s...and I need some supportive friends too!!

Dear Lord! What a change!!! You've lost a whole person!!!! I admire your dedication and obvious commitment. Thanks for the inspiration!

Well done!!! It sounds like you have a firm footing in better, healthier habits, and you have obviously done some heard work to earn that loss!! Keep it coming, lady! We'll all be here to cheer you on ;)

I am not in your situation, but I know 3 different women who have elected to get the breast reduction surgery, and each one of them talk about it as though it was the day their lives truly began. The describe incredible relief, physically, and enjoy buying clothes now. I have never heard of anyone regretting it. Maybe lose…

That is pretty sweet. You've obviously earned it. Celebrate the fruits of your labor and the character traits that got you there. Well done!!

Oh, you really do need to get one!!!! We've had our cuisinart for 11 years and it looks like it will last 11 more. Its definitely worth the investment and opens up whole new worlds of food (cue soaring music). The pie crusts you can make with it are amaaaaaaaazing.

Where I live the fancy grocery stores (Whole Foods, Central Market) sell large bags of prepackaged pretzels specifically for Halloween. This usually goes over pretty well. Also, I go to www.orientaltradingcompany.com and buy little items in bulk, and its super cheap. Things like spider rings, glow in the dark vampire…
