I'm the same way! My evening snacks I like: string cheese ricotta cheese + cocoa powder + few drops liquid stevia + topped w/ whipped cream sugar free jello atkins chocolate shakes
-
I have the same problem!! I find the following things help me: - drink hot tea instead - go to bed early - drink a lot of water after/during dinner - keep binge tempting food out of the house - drink almond/cashew milk instead (it's filling w/o the carbs & calories)
-
Atkins shakes are good - low carb and taste great

Speed doesn't matter - you're doing it! And beating everyone who's sitting on the couch! I always say I jog at a leisurely pace ;) - but it's still a jog!

- Reduces inflammation in just a few days (ie: lower bp) - Gets one off the sugar rollercoaster that drives many ppl to overeat in the first place - Eliminates foods that have zero nutritional value from your diet, naturally - Allows you to eat rich versions of your favorite foods again (milk, whole fat cheese, bacon) -…

found these noodles - called Miracle noodles. They sell them on amazon and at Wegmans. Highly recommend. They have zero carbs, but fill you up and easy to substitute into your pasta recipes. https://miraclenoodle.com/

Some sources say that exercising on an empty stomach will result in burning more fat.. I always prefer exercising on empty stomach b/c i'll get cramps other wise.

Yes, booze for sure!

Perhaps it's the blood sugar level flux that creates your hunger in between meals.... My suggestion; stop counting calories, and go low-carb. Much healthier and you'll actually end up eating less calories, because you won't be hungry. LCHF all the way. Good luck!

b/c both are wonderful for your health... mental and physical!

Sardines are so nutritious and good for you. I'm trying to find recipes on them.. but for now, just enjoying atop of a parmesan crisp. Small fish like sardines are less likely to have mercury, so wouldn't worry about that.

Go to the Keto reddit page... lots of starting off info and such. Good luck!

Keep your carbs and sugar low... you'll avoid large swings in blood sugar and will make life so much easier... You'll eat less w/o trying. Drinking more water helps too. Replace your carbs with fat to stay satisfied. :)

Real natural peanutbutter.... I'll take a TBS of that and add a dollop of sugar free cool whip on top... they compliment each other well, with very little sugar.

thanks, @KnitOrMiss !

I'm starting over myself.... Got back on the wagon yesterday. Feel free to add me, as I'm looking for more Keto/LC friends.

Count me in!

Sugar free Jello with a dollop of sugar free cool whip on top. Sounds lame...but really satisfying and only 30 calories!

I have a fitbit too, and I love it. We can do it!

Congrats! Low carb is definitely effective to shed those lbs fast!! I do every-so-often to jumpstart my weight-loss.... Low carb for a few months, then slowly transition to low calorie. I

Almost everyday I eat the same breakfast and lunch... Hard boiled eggs for breakfast and a home-made salad for lunch. My usual desserts are a vitatop muffin (chocolate of course) topped with fat free whip cream.

If you had high sodium the day before your weigh-in, that would definitely contribute to not seeing the results you anticipated. Give it time, and one day you'll see that number drop. Good luck!

Reducing carb intake is a natural diuretic, so the headache and stuff is normal; it's from loss of potassium and sodium. Drink 1-2 cups of chicken broth and you'll feel better. :) Good luck!

I would start doing strength training exercises... Muscles burn more calories at rest, I've changed up my workouts to incorporate more strength training (over running), and it's paying off in a good way. good luck!

Congrats! The first year of baby is hard enough, not to mention trying to make a change in lifestyle. Good for you! Keep up the good work!
