  • My concern with that is how to go about freezing the food without it getting ruined by freezer burn, etc. I want to do the make ahead prep stuff but I just haven't figured out the best way to store anything...
  • Nope, no high blood pressure either... I'm thinking my trainer is just a very extremely healthy, eat only fresh, organic, no sodium foods kind of person. lol Thats not how I work...
  • I would if I was sure how to go about doing it. Whenever I cook, I'm usually cooking for my family as well so there tends to not be any leftovers left! haha but then I'm also not sure about what time of recipes work well for that sort of cooking and freezing..?
  • And I drink a ton of water! So I never really paid attention either but then my trainer just got me thinking about it. So I'm torn because I was doing fine when I wasn't tracking it but now I'm not so sure. Maybe I can find a way to not really track it so strictly as I do my calories...kind of a compromise of sorts..
  • Add me too!!! I love new friends! :-)
  • http://she-fit.com/stuffed_bell_peppers/ Stuffed Bell Peppers - Ground turkey, mushrooms, tomatoes, mozzarella... These were amazing! And when I put the recipe into MFP they came out to be less than 300 calories per bell pepper!

  • Maybe nobody knows whats up with my left arm lol
  • I get where you're coming from. After working hard we expect to see at least some results in the number on the scale. I don't know much about why it isn't going down but keep working at it! I do know that if you stop working at it then it will probably go up, and we certainly don't want that. have you tried looking at your…
  • I definitely want to try these! YUM!
  • So glad I read this! I just started working with a personal trainer and the whole thing is new for me. I was very discouraged when I gained 2-3 pounds this week! but now I can see what may be causing it and thankfully this morning my weight started going in the right direction!
  • I have only just started exercising and I have started working with a personal trainer. She has me do circuits as well but they are shorter. And we will do like 3 of one circuit and then move on to a different circuit and do so many of that one and so on. its almost like a circuit of circuits! hahaha I do a lot of circuits…
  • Have you tried something simple like a Special K cereal bar. For me it is not too much but it is just enough to make sure my stomach isn't feeling like it is so empty it is going to start eating itself!
  • There is also a recipe floating around somewhere for lasagna "cups." You make them in a muffin pan and if I remember right, you use wonton wrappers instead of noodles but I bet you could use veggie slices too. I have not made it yet but it would definitely help out in the portion control department!
  • Totally making this tonight! I may need to use one of my mozzarella low fat cheese sticks though because that is all I have...But I bet that will still be delish!
  • I was struggling with something similar the last couple days as well. I have always been able to diet and lose a little weight but it always comes right back. This time around I finally decided I needed to exercise to lose weight and keep it off. So I join a gym, get a personal trainer, everything. After a week of working…
  • Oh fun, yeah I am pretty sure I would smash my face on ground!
  • OK now I have to know what a Burpee is? hahaaha
  • They do have a side order of grilled mushrooms....I do LOVE mushrooms. I wonder if I could get those instead of rice and beans???? What do you think?
  • Thanks for all the responses guys! Now I am thinking the chicken fajitas....The only reason I was originaly leaning towards the veggie burritos was because I thought being "veggie" they would have fewer calories but I don't think I realized how many calories were in the tortillas. So maybe chicken fajitas with corn…
  • My first time doing a plank ever was on Tuesday with my first PT session. When she explained what they were I didn't think I would be able to do it. She said "For me to be able to count it, you have to last for at least 5 seconds. But our goal is for you to last 20 seconds eventually." I was just thinking "Oh God I just…
  • Hahhaha! Yup stupid muscles!
  • Ahh yes, planks were the other thing we did. -_- That one was not cool! Dislike!!! :noway: hahahaha but yeah, I can see how working on those would be very helpful!
  • It seemed like most of what we did were lunges and squats....but that may just be because I really felt those! haha front lunges, side lunges, squats with weights, squats with medicine ball, then also lots of steps like up and down on the raised platform thingy hahaha some with weights, some without.... We fit so much into…
  • Yeah, I am going to start working on them at home, probably when I wake up in the mornings. It just feels silly when I am really not getting that far! hahah
  • Thats why I was so nervous going in today. I had no idea about what she would be like. I was terrified I would get some crazy body builder, boot camp style, woman named Ulga! hahaha but she was actually really nice! And she just looked healthy! Not crazy thin but not overweight at all, and not all muscles, just healthy!

  • Thanks everyone for your thoughts! Hopefully it will go well this evening! :-) I'm nervous, but it is starting to feel like an excited kind of nervous!
  • Thanks! That makes me feel better!
  • Yeah...I wish I knew which one I would feel more comfortable with before I got in there! hahaha I think I'm just really nervous in general. The whole gym anxiety thing and all that...
  • I agree. But I am also asking whether other MFPs feel more comfortable with males or females? When I searched the forums I saw several posts where they said they prefer to work with males. I am just trying to see why...
