Lift too. It's a great workout and really fun. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1308750/so-you-want-to-start-lifting-great/p1 Some good starter programs here. Strong lifts 5x5 mentioned above is a good one. I'm partial to Starting Strength (Rippetoe). It's actually right next to me now at work. :)

My liver is still a bit salty with me from my roaring 20s, but we've made great strides in recent years.

My kidneys detox me everyday.

Awesome work man. Im still 10lbs from making that first digit go down to the number 2. It'll be a great day when that happens.

The only person who can fat shame me is... Me. Someone else calling me fat? Well, they are just speaking an objective truth. I am fat. I'm working on it. Someone different wants to tell me that I should love who I am and losing weight is somehow bad for me? I do love who I am. I can also be a better me tomorrow.

I like your style.

I work 7a-4p M-f. My commute is 2+ (depending on traffic that day) hours one way. I get home, help with the children, then go to the gym around 7. I'm there for a hour, then my wife goes.

Next you'll tell me there is no Santa Claus.

I've been considering a Fitbit Blaze. Been doing some diligence and am not sure, but it seems fairly solid.

Neat way to do this. Thanks for the idea.

10 years ago, every person in my family/circle of friends (except my wife, shes a good kid) told me that I would never be able to work full time and go back to college to finish my degree. Every person. Constantly. I was told "It's too hard!" "You're wasting your time!" "Your marriage will suffer!" Now: I'm still happily…

It's never really bothered me. It's not like they are telling me something I didn't already know. :)

Aaaaaaand now I want one. I haven't thought about one of those in years. Thanks. :p
