  • I hope I never look like any of these tools or i'll eat myself back to 469 lbs.
  • I don't drink, maybe a shot of beer every few weeks at a brewery. However, as stated above, whiskey seems to be the choice for keto. I have done vodka once or twice before on low carb and kept keto, but like anything, in moderation... if it takes you a few drinks to get buzzed, its probably best to skip it for now.
  • http://www.dietdoctor.com/the-dreamfields-pasta-fraud Dreamfield is a scam, don't eat that crap frankenfood. As for dairy, yes. Give up the sugary dairy like whole milk. No reason to cut out the cheeses unless they make you sick, lots of healthy fat and protein in cheese.
  • "I am healthy and active everyday, if I can do it, obviously everyone else in the world should be able to think and achieve those things just as easily. All humans are the same and have had the same life experiences and challenges that I have had. Brains totally work that way! They want to be fat, those lazy ****s! Put…
  • Turkey bacon = frankenbacon! Its far worse and processed for you than bacon ever can be. Bacon has the perfect macro nutritional break down. It is the god-meat. 4 slices a day keeps the weight away.
  • It's not often I find something interesting on these boards, but very cool! I've always counted my ground beef as full calories, and i'll keep doing so, but its good to know I might need to eat some more bacon on days I have too lean a burger. :D
  • Too bad I already smell like bacon.
  • Most guys don't care if they touch, gap, or sprout wings and fly to us. We probably just want them out of their pants.
  • Stupid people.
  • You know.. there are a few times I am glad I am a guy. Can't believe how many people are stupid enough to ask if someone is pregnant. As for my own, there are probably 3 that stand out. Virtual ride at disney that moved back and forth, couldn't get the bar on and had to wait for everyone else, had to get off the ride.…
  • Very big change in the stomach area, plus you have some GREAT natural curves throughout your body. You should be proud. You are going to look great at your goal! Don't hide those pictures, use them to push yourself harder. :)
  • I've been trying to get my roommates to marathon through LOTR extended blu-rays with me. (Along with copious amounts of 420) But even that wouldn't convince them to watch it with me. Need to find some geekier friends apparently. Love the movies though, and the books even though I have not read them in full since high…
  • Be careful, freedom bites. :D
  • http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/ Pretty much everything here minus the ones with dairy.
  • Why would anyone want to go to bed hungry? Why would anyone want to ever be hungry to begin with? Idiotic. Bob Harper is a fraud. Google about how he really treated contestants on biggest loser and how he pushed them to dehydrate themselves before weigh-ins to compete. Follow Bob Harpers rules if you want the quickest way…
  • I carry a Beretta 92FS 9mm handgun when I walk. I live out in the plains (country) of Colorado and there are plenty of animals around to be afraid of on my walks. Not the least of all, dogs who have **** owners. Sorry, but if its between someones pet getting shot, and my leg getting a chunk out of it, that dog is going to…
  • Emotional eating, more specific sugars and carbohydrates which would further cause me to emotional eat. Once I cut those out it was clear sailing.
  • I was making a joke there about legislation, if it wasn't obvious. Sadly, bacon does not share any of the physically addictive qualities that sugar has. If I had craved bacon as much as I used to crave sugar and carbs, I wouldn't have been in the place I was when I began this weight loss.
  • Same here. :(
  • There are about a billion hotels in the area, many have cheap cheap cheap rates. It's really no different from any other place, they just have a lot more top-end stuff available. Just stay away from the big names (Westin, Marriot, Hilton, etc) and resorts and you'll do fine. Holiday inns are usually nice and cheap!

  • Since I started at 469 not a lot of options were available to me, I ended up purchasing a doctors scale for around $250. It's just like the ones you see at the offices, with a measure for height as well. The one great thing about it is that it is ACCURATE, very accurate. I can drink 24 ounces of water and see the…
  • Holy crap, just reading this thread is really telling to why the world is getting fatter and unhealthier. People are so defensive about their sugar addictions that they will go so far as to attack those that avoid the disgusting stuff! Reminds me of addiction to many hard drugs out there. There are cravings, moods,…
  • Looks like I have you beat by 1 lb! ;) Just kidding of course. Congrats on your loss, that is amazing progress!

  • Exactly, as far as fighting cramps go its really about the "electrolytes". Potassium, calcium, magnesium and sodium. Get enough of those and you should never have cramping issues.
  • Personally, I just do it to be safe. We do digest some of the soluble fiber, though its very little. Most of flax seed though is insoluble, not sure how it is for chia. So you could really count it as a 0 carb if you wanted, the impact on blood sugar is very low. Sadly I do not know enough of the science behind fiber to…
  • I use flax meal, which is 4 grams of carbs, 4 grams of fiber. Personally, I count it as 1 carb per serving regardless of the count. I think that is how a lot of people do it. I consider my flax meal buns to be a 2 carb item, even though its 0 carb based on nutrition labels.
  • As others have mentioned, do not trust MFP for potassium, its almost certainly under. I personally am on a LCHF diet so I use avocado, spinach, lite mortons salt (50% potassium), and I supplement with 99mg potassium pills before bed to prevent cramps.
  • > You have a higher BMI than 100% of males aged 15-29 in the world. If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would add 234,748,562 tonnes to the total weight of the world's population. I SHALL CRUSH THE WORLD WITH MY BMI!
