  • It depends on what you want to believe, a lot of people think they need to get 30+ grams of protein as soon as possible after a workout for max absorption etc but it's not needed. Timing doesn't matter - hit your macros for the day, train hard and you will get your results.
  • It's very hard to eat too much protein from a normal diet, and even if you do it doesn't really matter. Over years of being on a high protein diet (250g+) (bodybuilders for example) it can take it's toll on the kidneys trying to process it, but I wouldn't worry about it as I doubt your consuption is sky high.
