I'm at 1200, but you shouldn't feel bad about going over your calories. They say 1200 is the bare minimum. I've discovered that if I go over by 500 calories I will still be a few pounds lighter in a few weeks! And I have had days like that for SURE. But it's not the end of the world! I think if you workout your pecs and upper body, lose some fat etc. You never see professional athletes with huge knockers, that's no coincidence!

KEEP GOING! Your muscles and body will adapt under pressure. Stay VERY well hydrated before, after, and even during the workout. That will help with the soreness. Like Jillian says, if you want change, it's not gonna come for free. This is not supposed to be easy!

Luckily (or not) for me my work is pretty cheap and we don't have those days.. lol.. sometimes someone brings and ice creams, I will limit myself to ONE only. Or in the case of the ice cream sandwich, half a one, 170 calls is too much for my snacking :(

I would log it and then watch yourself for the rest of the week. You still have a weekly calorie goal you can stay under, so try and aim for that.

Officially starting to lose weight is a big change for me, i could NOT give up smoking at the same time! There's nothing like a vicious workout followed by a relaxing smoke... mmmmmmm.... This annoys me too, I go over my sugar EVERY single day, even when I don't have sweets. Like if I have an apple and 1 tbsp of peanut butter then that's it for the day, i'm screwed. I never thought about it affecting my weight loss but I DO think about it giving me diabetes! Aaaahh!!

As a 38E, I will tell you that 1. It is not appropriate at work 2. It is appropriate at 99% other places and everybody is jealous! It's summer and you should not be dying in a turtleneck. Also we should be allowed to wear the same cuts as everyone else. If my cleavage goes up past the neckline then GOOD FOR ME! :laugh:
