  • Help! I finished Week 5, Day 2 today and I have no idea how I am going to go from running 8 minutes (with 5 minutes of walking in the middle) to 20 minutes next time!! No Walking?! 8 minutes feels like a really long time. How do I go to 20?! Is that a misprint? Should it be 10 minutes?? :)
  • I think that every person needs a way to support him/her self because you never know when you might have to work and earn a paycheck. (Divorce, death, all kinds of other bad things...) That being said, I see no issues with stay-at-home folks and believe that it can benefit the child greatly. But if it is not financially…
  • Wow - I don't usually post (more of a lurker), but your pics are amazing! Thank you for sharing - I needed some motivation today and you provided it! Congratulations on not only your weight loss, but your bravery. You're my new inspiration! :flowerforyou:
  • 41...soon to be 42...here. I was doing great and fell off the wagon, under the spokes and into the mud. *sigh* Would love to get going again with some like-minded folks. :flowerforyou:
  • I fell off the wagon too and was really struggling to get bak on. Two things from this site got me re-motivated. 1) "Just look at today. Watch your eating....do your exercise....just for today. Then tomorrow you can worry about tomorrow." This reminded me that I can't take everything on every day. Break it into manageable…
  • I have the same problem and it's killing me. :frown: What works for me is to be almost obsessive in documenting my food and sticking to it. I get rid of all the 'extras' in my pantry and just buy exactly what I need for the week. This prevents me from binging on bad stuff because it's just not around. The other thing I…
  • No matter how I write this it sounds kind of condescending, but I promise I don't mean for it to be.... :flowerforyou: Just go to bed. Seriously, when I am hungry and it's night time, I just pack it in for the day and go to sleep. Chances are I needed the extra hour or two and I always wake up feeling better.
  • OMG - I could have written this post! I do exactly the same thing...great all week then blow it on the weekends. You're all ready strides ahead of me if you're not completely splurging - we have pizza and all kinds of 'bad' things. It's like my will power only works M-F, 9-5 too! I hope some folks can provide ideas. Thank…
  • I use one whole egg and the 1-2 whites. It keeps the 'bad stuff' down and pumps up the protein. Plus - it's yellow! :) Add a little chopped turkey bacon, veggies and some 2% cheese and it's pretty darn good! I don't even miss the rest of the yolks.
