53 lbs is no easy task, great job. I need to drop 100lbs. 😥 I was out of commission for almost a year from surgery. My eating got...shall we say out of hand. Back full force now.

Your fine, that's not that much honestly, I had to google the conversion lol but no worries. Take it and use it for motivation. Never let someone steal your positivity.

Just started back to the gym after being out almost a year from surgery. Now the gyms closed, so I need all the motivation I can get. Trying to keep active as much as possible.

I have to agree with everyone else here, your first photo is nothing to be ashamed over. I can relate to having issues with doctors.

Ainar is 100% correct. Even though MFP says only take in X amount of protein, when your doing a regular weightlifting routine to spare and or build muscle, you need that extra protein. Also the term Macro is referring to macro nutrients, Carbs, Fat, and Protein.

Really it doesn't matter what program you pick, just so long as your lifting!! :-) Best advice I can give you is check out some of the fitness channels on youtube. You can get some great tips on basic movements, routines, anything. Inbox me if you want I will give you some of my favorites :-)

Don't let bad days get you in a rut. Take it for what it is and get back into it the next day. I started at over 400lbs and smoking 2 or 3 packs of cigarettes a day. As of today I'm 295 and smoke free. I was a mess and I did it so trust me you can to! :-)
