I eat the same thing for breakfast and snacks but with variation to break up the taste. So I will have a smoothie with Kefir as the base... I may switch up the flavor or the fruits to keep it interesting. The calories are the same though.

My calorie deficit is usually 1900 calories per day as supposed to 2379 which is Maintenance or TDEE. I eat about 130 grams of protein per day, plus I get good fats and carbs in.

I agree, it definitely goes back to the purpose of the fast. When we focus on the food, it defeats the purpose because instead of Christ being the focus, food is.
