I was a SAHM for many years when my 4 kids were younger and started working part time at the Y. Not only did I get paid, but our Y offers a free individual or reduced rate family membership to all employees that work a minimum number of hours per week (6). Same story..mom of 4 up and down same 30 pounds over the last 8 years. Finally decided to use MFP for real...not just to check in and see how my good days are:) Down 15 since beginning of February, but I know the next 10-15 will be harder. Would love to finish this journey with more friends! Please friend me.

Well, I am definitely not an expert, but sodium has always been one of my struggles when trying to lose weight so I have been trying to watch my intake and increase potassium to counteract the sodium. My new favorite trick is a can (11.5oz) of reduced sodium V8 daily = 1180mg potassium, 70 calories, 0 fat, 3g fiber, 12g…
