Mini Wheats and an apple on workout days. A more fun empty calorie type cereal for non-workout days.

I kept an eye on it for a year of logging here but I was consistently above 100 grams. MFP doesn't take into account what is natural and what is added sugar. Don't worry too much about it unless you're diabetic or something. If your calories and other macros are where they should be you're doing well.

I've been wondering this myself 'cause I've been eating at a deficit for a year and well yeah...

I found that too. All I thought about was food. It seems to be going away now that I've hit my goal. Now I'm a little worried that I'm becoming too lax, but I guess that's just called living. Know that I know what I know though I can't ever unlearn it and thus I don't think I'll ever be able to not count calories.

Never had this problem with my caloric restraints although when one is starving I would suggest you simply eat. Problem solved.

I always eat mine back. Look at my ticker and make of that what you will. Your body wants fuel. It's like a car. You expect the car to move further on a day when you're exercising so you need more fuel to get there.

I applaud you for being here first off. The first and hardest step is admitting you have a problem. By taking the step to tackle it you're doing better than most already. I feel you on the love of food. I love it more now that I eat less of it if that makes any sense. It's quality over quantity now. I didn't cut anything…

Gluten questions? If you're not Celiac eat your gluten. When companies cut out gluten from products they replace it with other crap like sugar. So unless you have an actual intolerance eat all the friggin gluten you want. Getting on the fad train is a sure way to not succeed. Do what is right for you and what you can…

I will happily support you in your journey :)

How have I not thought of this? Must try! Thanks

Okay full disclosure here considering I just inhaled three Timbits I may not be qualified to give you advice or maybe it makes me more qualified. It's an ongoing battle but you have to remind yourself that it won't make you feel better (in most cases you'll actually feel worse.) The food won't solve your problem and it…

Because people are stupid and not informed. Pizza can be a very good food that includes all food groups. Now that being said my old go to was a Meat Lover's. These days it's ham, chicken, tomatoes, green peppers and feta cheese on a thin crust. I actually like the new one much better and rarely miss the old.

My 36F boobs are now a 34C :(

WTF do you NEED a boyfriend for? Men are too much drama and in my experience lately friggin scared of strong confident women. I hope you find a decent man if that's truly what you think will bring you happiness.

I kept an eye on my sugar count until a week ago. It was ALWAYS over 100. The thing is MFP doesn't distinguish between real and fake or added sugar. FAKE and ADDED sugar is what you need to limit. Otherwise just disregard this bloody number. I've switched to monitoring sodium which is the real killer.

Ooh good question. Now that I'm getting close I'm worrying I may never be happy but we'll see. I'm still far better off than a year ago.

Barbie (it's the gorgeous blonde hair and blue eyes I think)

Sweet potatoes are my new addiction. I can't wait to try kale chips and lots of other things.

I've always liked my lips and now that I've lost weight they look even bigger. Yay!

I would be lost without my food scale. Best investment I ever made. I have one at work and one at home. I'd rather weigh my food religiously than weigh my body too often and try to understand the fluctuations in weight there that can be due to anything.

I love protein bars (real protein bars, Special K is all about their "we're healthy" branding more than anything.) Yup much better than a cookie. Protein helps build and repair your muscles whereas the cookie would have have no nutritional value and been all sugar.
-
I eat mine back. Do what you will.

I have become a protein bar addict. Obsessed with trying every one I come across and most are good. I didn't like Quest bars at first but now I love them too.

To all the people eating 1200 calories or less I say today I ate at Denny's...look at my stats/pictures. Please start eating. Your body needs food.

Maybe your calorie goal isn't right? Check out my Facebook page for what I mean 'cause I'd love to type more but I'm late for work. Facebook.com/motivatormandy

If you do the work it pays off. I'm proof. It can't not. People who buy the fix aren't actually fixing anything and will ultimately end up back where they started if they don't change their ways. Rant over because I have to get to the gym.

Curves. I love it. I walked in thinking it was an "old ladies' gym" but it's sooo not. Well okay it's an all ladies gym and most of them are older but if you really giv'er it's a great workout. I didn't expect it to work (and it's nice not having to workout with sweaty guys.)
