  • that is AWESOME!!! I can't wait for that day!!! (3 more lbs :o) )
  • You look absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! You must be SO PROUD of your self :o) I didn't think 16 lbs would make that much of a difference either, but you can REALLY tell in the pictures!!! I hope that this next 20 (hoping to hit 100 eventually) will show that much of a difference too! You are such an inspiration CONGRATS TO YOU!!
  • Beer! or 100 calorie packs....they are just so easy!
  • Personally, I ONLY zig-zag when I hit a plateau (which lately is about every 10 lbs or so) I don't recommend it all the time, but if you are losing consistently and then hit a wall it does "trick" the system a bit. Maybe it is all in the head, but it seems to work for me!
  • Congrats Ladies!!! I can NOT wait until the day I am "overweight"  Only 6 more lbs!!!!
  • I have a great dane too!!! Though he is a mix so he is not as tall or large, but still a big boy weighing in at about 110 and still growing! Maybe he and I will turn out to be around the same weight ;o)
  • I tried Zumba out the other night for the first time and burned 800 something calories according to my HRM. I currently weigh around 188 lbs
  • @ ArchyJilldid you really mean to type 8 liters? That could be dangerous. One SHOULD drink half their body weight in ounces of water per day. If 8 liters is what you are consuming that would put you at 528 lbs? Just curious, I want you to be safe :o) I too keep a bottle with a straw, its a 24 oz bottle and I usually try to…

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!! It DOES get easier! I was addicted to 4" heels years ago and found I could not wear them when I started putting on weight and become more clumsy :o) Now that I am down it is fantastic to be able to wear them again!
  • VERY TRUE!!! Odd numbered sizes fit a not-so-curvy proportioned bodies(or teens) and even numbered sizes are fit for a woman's body.
  • I don't know about taste buds, but my stomach can hardly take eating out or eating things I used to live on anymore. I get sick if I venture out of my "bubble" these days!
  • I LOVE THIS!! Congrats!! My Mom wants me to do it too ( when I'm done ) I can't wait to see you!!!
  • October 10 picture taken 6 lbs ago :o)
  • I'd love to join you too! I am 25 lbs away from my 100 lb In-term-goal! Name.............................. Start Weight ............................ Current Weight ......................... + / - LBS…
  • I AGREE! I was stuck for weeks and weeks and weeks at a darn plateau and the same week I started MFP I broke my standstill! I have been consistently loosing since (even if I pull a 0 one week the next week is a big loss). Cheers MFP!
  • I DVR the show ( I don't have 2 hours to sit around and watch) and fast forward through those parts, I stop for workouts, weigh ins and nutritional advice.
  • I feel the same way about a few of my clothes, perhaps getting them altered? It might be an investment...but it depends how much you love them.
  • I try never to be negative on this site, but I am super bummed about my halloween costume. I have had halloween costume DRAMA for years because I am overweight and I thought THIS IS THE YEAR! ...but no, sadly, it is not. I bought a super cute "viking princess" costume and it was very good quality which I was surprised…
  • I was a soda ADDICT...no joke, I could drink over a 2 liter of diet coke a DAY! I hated water, but it REALLY DOES help! Start by challenging yourself, first make your way up to 64 oz's per day. Then once you get a handle on that (and your bladder does too) take your weight and divide it by 2. That's how many ounces per day…
  • I plan on having whatever I want, but not going insane. I have worked this hard over the past year I deserve a meal of goodness :o) I will not take home leftovers and I am not big on sweets. Happy (almost) Holidays everyone!
  • EVERYONE is different, all bodies are different hence, everyone needs to do different things to keep it moving. This may be working for you now, but when you plateau I suggest eating what you would normally need. A loss of 2 lbs a week is MUCH HEALTHIER for your body and will help you keep it off for good! Lots of people…
  • I use the Polar FT7 and love it. It DOES have a chest strap, that is really recommended to get the most accurate data. They are not cheap, but most times when you figure which one you want you can find a deal on amazon or ebay.
  • I work in radio marketing, I am also a freelance graphic designer. The only mothering I do is to my 14 month old (BIG) puppy :o)
  • I buy a ton of fresh veggies on Sunday, cut them all up and put them in a big bowl so I can "snack" before dinner. Other than that, I am a big fan of the FiberOne or FiberPlus bars, bananas or apples with peanut butter, almonds, rice cakes, raisins, string cheese and if I am really in a bind (trying to eat small 6x a day)…
  • I dont have a wedding ring, but my family crest ring is trying to make an escape! For years I did not wear it because it was a size 6 then I resized it to an 8, then it split (who knows how) and when I got it fixed they made it a 7....now I'm thinking I need a 6 again :o) which made me realize I have not weighed this…
  • Right now I eat about a 1/4 or a 1/2 of my exercise calories...I'd be very interested in seeing what works better. Keep us posted! Thanks :o)
  • I personally love the Kellogg recipe! I put 1 serving size of Special K in a bag and mash it up as desired. Then roll the chicken in it and bake! it still has the "fried" feeling and its so much better for you :o)
  • I usually do 30 grams of avocado and it doesn't get out of control...otherwise I would devour the whole thing ;-)
  • I am a lot shorter than you are, but I do have the hour glass figure. I started with 120 lbs to loose and I didn't notice it with my clothes not fitting anymore until about 40 lbs. At least I hung on to the clothes I had for as long a possible because I couldnt buy new ones! but it will happen! your on a great track!…
