Insanity :)

I use the Nike Running app. Keeps track of your run time and length during your run.

I think so. I was always getting sick, started working out 5 to 6 days a week (Dancing, Tae Bo, Insanity) and I can only recall one cold that lasted for just a short time. Plus it is a good stress reducer for a new college student!

Favorite would be INSANITY and Hip Hop Abs. I have done Robin Antins Pu$$y Cat Dolls workout and Tae Bo, but nothing beats the burn and intensity of the Beachbody workouts.

I haven't seen any weight results with my 5th week of INSANITY, but one thing that you are doing wrong (I was too) is not taking in enough calories. The first month of workouts can burn up to 500 calories and the second they say up to 1000 a workout. These workouts are so intense your body needs all the calories it can…

I did one last year and had a blast, planning on doing one next year since new baby knocked me out of the running for one this year. You should try and get some long distance running/joggin down (at least 5 miles), since the course in a 10 to 12 mile stretch. The other parts to work on is upper body strength. I didn't have…

INSANITY won't give you right away results either...I am almost done with week 5 and even though my scale hasn't moved much. I have lost inches around my waist and I am getting into my pre-pregnancy jeans. I would finish out your P90X before giving up on it. You have already started it. Plus make sure your calorie intake…

Modify the workout but don't stop. Sometimes pushing through the soreness helps. Drink lots of fluids and stretch good.

I am doing Hip Hop Abs after my Insanity workout. I don't get as good of a workout with Hip Hop Abs as I do Insanity (obviously), but I do love the video. It really targets your abs and the moves are fun.

Get ready to get your behind kicked. Week 4 now and still loving it, although some days I just feel like being lazy. Push through your down days and follow the calendar. Eat enough good food and stay off the scale!! I need to keep telling myself this. If not, then you will get really discouraged really fast. Your body will…

Artic Enema and Electro Shock least favorite. Mud Mile one of my favorites along with anything that was underground...it was overcast, rainy, windy and 68 degrees! BRRR

I just started week 4 and I have gone from a size 9 to a 5. My scale hasn't move a pound, but my cardio is killer and my upper body strength is better then it has been before. I don't follow their diets, I have been a calorie counter for a few years now, so I just watch those. I recommend it if you are wanting to really…

Whatever you do DO NOT WEAR METAL BARRETTESI had my hair up and for the electric eel I was fine, but a charge hit me right on top of my head where my barrette was in the Electro Shock Therapy and knocked me out for a few seconds. I face planted in the mud and had visions I was at the Mud Mile :(. I came too only to realize…

Know this could be a little too late, but my husband had a knee injury so we got an elliptical machine instead of a treadmill.

DVD! Prefer to be in my own home, at my own time. I don't have to fight anyone for a machine or worry about making a fool of myself, plus no matter what DVD you buy, it is cheaper then a years membership at any gym. I am not a machine person anyways, I get bored easily. With DVDs you can switch it up and always go back to…

My plan after I finish Insanity is to do the Hip Hop Abs and then alternate Insanity workouts 3 to 5 days a week. I paid enough for Insanity that there is no way I would just stop using it....plus the workouts are hard core and I love it! Congrats on finishing your 63 days soon, I still have 1 week in month one then I…

I always work out on an empty stomach, not even coffee. I have jogged, Tae Bo, dance, and I am currently doing Insanity. When I have eaten in the past I get stomach cramps, so over the years I just started doing any workouts in the AM before getting anything in me but water (and small amounts). I did Tough Mudder on the…

I just started my 3rd week of Insanity and no weight loss, but inches around my waist, hips and arms. I am 8 weeks post-baby and almost into the pant size I was in before my pregnancy, maybe 3 more weeks and I will be there. My cardio is better and my upper body strength is getting there. I have to keep telling myself…

Just started my second week of Insanity and I already dropped a pant size!! Don't worry, your strength and cardio will get better as time goes by, I was totally ashamed at my fit test. Don't stop just because you aren't seeing results right away. I am still not where I wanted to be, but I am further then where I was when I…
