If you were doing that kind of hiking and eating less than 1200 calories your body may have gone into starvation mode. It can be muscle and water also. I have the scale that shows body fat and water and it has saved me from a lot of screw it - McFlurries!

The first time I had to put on a CPAP mask. It was humiliating to have my husband see that (he is great about it - it's my own issue). It was bad enough looking at ll the clothes in my closet I couldn't wear but know that I was killing myself was a wake up call bar none.

Back after a long time and a lot of regained pounds. I did really well with MFP the last time but, then chronic health issues got in the way. I like making myself accountable with the food diary and check -ins. It's the mindless eating that gets me in trouble. Must lose the weight it is just adding to my health issues.
