Hi! I'm Renee. I've lost 110+ pounds, but the last year have put 50 back on. So, back to getting it off (for good) and staying away from "fat thinking"

Add me too! 47 here!

Add me too! You always need support!!!!

Thought for the day: The extent to which YOU take responsibility over something is the extent to which YOU take control over it. It's time for me to take responsiblity and stop make excuses! Back at it!

Me too! I've been having problems with them, but for some unknown reason, last night it just clicked. It's time to be back at it. No more excuses. No more letting others determine what I think of myself, how I act, what I eat, etc. Back to doing things for me. Started eating right again and logging. Would say I'd hit the…

Yep! Right there with ya. I've put on 50 lbs the last year or so. It kinda crept up and it didn't seem to bother me much til lately. I hate it!!!! Just having a hard time getting going!

I'm get on some, but just don't have the time right now. I have marked a few receipes that look good. My DD21 is due at the end of January. This is her 2nd. She is very overweight (one of my biggest regrets - bad role model for my girls - weight wise). Anyway, told her that after baby is born and she's back on her feet, we…

Hello. I'm new too, just goined. I've used MFP for a long time, so I know it works when you use it. About 3 years ago I lost over 110 lbs, but due to life (started with divorce) I've put back on almost 50 lbs. So, gotta get it off. This time has proved to be the hardest. It seems like I'm always gonig 2 steps forward and 3…

Well said and so true.

Good Morning! This got me to thinking last night. I know all the stuff I need to know to lose weight and keep it off, but actually doing it is another thing. I didn't put this on overnight and it isn't coming off overnight, no matter how much I'd wish it would. Which lead me to this quote a co-worker told me one time when…

Thank you! That was a well needed reminder. I had forgotten what it was like to be on program and have motivation. So much going on in life, it's hard to keep focused. That's the biggest thing I'm having a problem with right now. I do good for a few days, then fall off again. It gets harder and harder to get back on. I…

Hi Everyone! I'm Renee, from Texas. Currently waiting for the cold weather to hit!!!!! Finally!!! I lost over 110 pounds about 3 years. Major life changes, divorce, job stress, etc and I fell off the wagon. I've gained about 40 lbs. Reverted to prior eating habits and not near enough time in the gym. I need all the help I…

Yep, I can relate. I lost over 100 lbs and kept most of it off for about 3 years. It does change the way you look and feel. Divorce threw me for a loop and I've put about 45 lbs back on. I weweighed over 250 lbs for 15+ years. You get used to hiding behind the weight. I'm at the point you are now. Afraid. This new for me,…

There will always be people who don't understand. My marriage actually fell apart after I lost a lot of weight (over 110 lbs.) People are either supportive or not. My family (dad & sister) have always been extremely supportive. Co-workers and friends? For a bit, but then after losing so much weight people forget. Now you…

You can add me too. I didn't delete my account., I just didn't post anymore. Emotional eating for me = binge eating, which I have done alot of lately. I haven't reacted very well to things lately. I lost over 110+ pounds and have put back on 30 or so. I just can't seem to get it together. No support, (recent divorce), and…

You have done a great job! I lost 110+ pounds, but have gained some back. Not been handling stress very well. I agree - support is critical. Feel free to add me to!

Some days the only time I can get to the gym is later in the day (around 8 or 9), especially once school starts. It never seemed to bother my sleep. Course by then I'm so freakin tired, I don't think anything could make me stay awake. LOL

Well, week three has been a huge bust. Gained! Don't really know how much, but enough! Trying to get settled in a new house, unpack, still do stuff to the house and moody 15 year old daughter - hasn't put me much in the mood for exercise or cooking. Excuses, excuses!!!! That's what I keep telling myself! Get over the pity…

I actally did pretty good, especially considering the amount of crap that's been going on at work. STRESS!!!! Anyway last week 181.4 (I think) this week 178.4 Finally! out of the 180s!

Didn't weigh in this morning, will do tomorrow. Moved this weekend. It's was very hot, didn't eat proper, etc. I know I'm retaining a ton of water - I can't tell where my ankles are!!!!! Between the heat and not enough water...... Hopefully this week will be better, things will be not as hectic.
-
Start 184 This week 182.8 Not a lot, but something. Between not eating or eating the wrong food, I expected worse.
-
Well.... I gotta remember to eat. Things get so crazy at work that the day is almost over before I realize I didn't eat lunch or snack or anything. I've got to be moved by the 25th. They can't get the flooring put in my new house til next week, so.... moving what I can before and then it will be a mad dash to get rest move…

Well, I was doing the C25K, modified, every morning. But since buying this house and trying to get it ready to move in, my cardio has been scraping up floor tile, painting, etc. I am so tired! But, another week and I should be just moving boxes. Plans for later this week, maybe start next week - back to getting my butt to…

Weekends are so very hard. Hard to drink as much water, hard to eat every 3 hours, etc. They kill me!!!! You didn't do too bad. You made good choices. Don't let the cake dictate how you are going to do later. You ate one piece, not the whole cake. For me, that would be a major accomplishment!

Hi! By the end of summer, I'd like to lose 30 lbs (or more). Long story made short - going back to my old eating habits. Stress is such a wonderful thing NOT! Anyway, I do better with a challenge too. Haven't been to the gym in almost a month, but the last 2 weeks has been a made rush to get the house I bought livable.…

ME TOO! Love fresh bread! It doesn't help that they put it by the checkout line in the store. You have to smell it while waiting! I can't bring any home - it won't last a day!
-
I'm the same way! I use half-n-half in my coffee. I have cut way down, but that is one thing I won't give up completely.
-
I got mine at Academy. I think's it by Champion. Love it! It's a racer back (think that's what it's called) - not like a regular bra. It's underwire and it also hooks in the back, so you can make it tighter. I had Underarmour before. It was good, but just squished em too much.

When I was working with a trainer, he had me eat cottage cheese every night. I usually ate a cup right before bed. It didn't bother me at night and I didn't wake up starving!
